This 0 star review is for sandwiches. (Made me put 1 star just so this post could be posted).
One of the ladies there doesn't make your sandwiches, she plops them. When you aske for anything like mayo, mustard, or whatever, she just picks up every bottle until you say yes to it, instead of looking or knowing what each bottle is. She also puts raw burger meat on the wrappers then proceeds to make your sandwich on top of that same paper. She doesn't change her gloves either after every sandwich. So if you are allergic to anything she's cross contaminating.
I asked for a Ceasar Wrap on wheat and said cold was fine. Next thing I knew I saw all the above issues, plus she didn't listen and made the chicken hot. Guy ahead of me got a cheeseburger and she just plopped everything on the bun. Like she didn't even nicely pull apart the slices of tomato or cheese. He asked for mustard and she missed half the bun, which meant half the mustard was all over the container.
Everyone was beside themselves watching her do the things she did.
Plus I got there at 515pm and by the time I was waited on, it was 645pm.
I just walked away and went to Bridgewater while she was in mid sandwich making. Im not paying for that slop.
All in all, don't get a sandwich at the Brockton, Massachusetts...
Read moreMy personal problem was in the bakery. Back in March I had ordered a cake with an elder lady in the evening her name is Winny she was rude responds to you annoying and can’t communicate with people in a decent way. I was hoping to order another cake after speaking no to another employee but guess who was there the day of my order she was and she remembered me gave me a harder time she had no name tag when I questioned her name she refused to tell me so I wouldn’t complain. I asked her co worker Isabella who was the complete opposite of Winny she was nice helpful and creative when helping place your order. After getting a manger Santos Winny got even loud with me yelling and shouting at me. Santos at the time could not get her quite down. Not to mention I had a child with me. Winny is an embarrassment to Market basket. When you’re ordering a cake for a special day this short of treatment is unacceptable. After the order was placed I didn’t feel comfortable eating a cake from here so I asked for my photo back and canceled my order. I called Shaws and bakery 15 min before closing and they waited for me to arrive so that I can place my order. Market Basket should consider retraining her when handling an order in a mannerly way and not make a customer feel like we are...
Read moreThis is a great place for grocery shopping. However, some of the cashiers need more training. For instance, cashier Taz (the name on the receipt) might need customer service 101. On Sunday, January 17th, 2021 at 12:45, she was on register 2, and this happened. A lady was in front of me with a cart full of groceries, then a gentleman, and I was the third person in line. (Well, I should have paid more attention to the sign "20 items or less"). It was busy, and I was a little distracted. She told me that she could not help me if I did not have 20 items or less. I kindly replied to her, I would pick 20 items in the cart and I would leave the rest (remember she just helped a lady with a cart half full in front of me). There were five items left in the cart. Attached is a picture of the receipt with the 20 items (please look at it, you are going to laugh :-) ). To make things more embarrassing for me, she was bragging to her coworker who was behind me about it. I was there listening to them laugh. I was so embarrassed, I exited the store so fast, I did not look behind. I just hope this review can help with some training for the cashiers, and hopefully, no one has to feel that embarrassed after making an honest mistake. Will I go back to the store? Of course, I...
