It was a little too busy for my taste. Not that there were a lot of people there, but they had a lot of TVs on the walls, which was kind of distracting me while I was trying to enjoy my meal with my family. However, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch! We ordered the chips, salsa, and sausage cheese dip and the fried pickles for starters. I wasn't really sure what to expect with the cheese dip and salsa, but they were both really good. The salsa is made fresh, not from a can or jar, and had excellent flavor. I'm pretty sure that the pickles were frozen/pre-made, but they were still awesome! Then, I had the double bacon burger and fries as my meal. The burger was made with fresh, real ground beef instead of pre-made frozen patties. The fries are shoestring cut, so they get nice and crispy on the outside while staying soft on the inside. Our server was so nice and on top of everything. She didn't hover around our table but was still very attentive and made sure we always had full or near full cups, checked back with us to see if we needed anything, and was legitimately interested in making sure we stayed as comfortable as possible during our meal. Now for the part you've all been waiting for, the prices. The prices weren't insane but they were definitely higher than you'd expect from a pub. My dinner party consisted of me, my wife, and our daughter, and we ordered two appetizers and 3 full entrees. We always drink water, so I'm not sure how much any other drinks would have added to the price, and yes, they do serve alcohol there. It's a pub (bar & grill). If I remember correctly, i think we ended up paying somewhere around $70-$75 for the whole meal with the tip included. So it averaged at about $20-$25 per person. However, it was well worth the expense, and I hope that I find myself back in the area again soon. I've been craving another bacon burger since that night. To sum it all up, it's a little on the higher priced side for a small pub in Oklahoma. The service is outstanding, and the food is very, very good. That's the best cheese burger I've had in a long time. So it's worth it to stop in and enjoy a good meal with your...
Read moreI’m not sure if this is a national chain or not but I do see that they have quite a few locations in Oklahoma. So with that said, I hate bad mouthing a local mom and pop but we didn’t care for it at all. Our server was sweet and did a good job. BUT the food was subpar at best. My wife and I split the shrimp platter (blackened) with spicy Mac and okra. We also got the triple threat to share. Boneless wings, chips and queso and fried pickles. All the fried food was obviously frozen and not fresh, not a huge deal, but at their prices it should have been made fresh. I honestly think the wings and pickles were Tyson anytizers. The shrimp didn’t have any seasoning on it, it was white, so not seasoned with blackening seasoning. It was on a bed of rice that was hard. The only good things was the queso and okra. Both a 5-6 on a 10 scale. I see a lot of people like this place so we may come back and try the pizzas. Looks like that might be what they specialize in. The food here is what I call drunk food. It’s only good when you’re drunk. Good thing they are a bar. I doubt I go back. Again, I hate knocking local but come on. We spent almost $50 for that and a kids chicken...
Read morePretty disappointed unfortunately. Went here for the first time tonight and we ordered the queso and salsa. The queso was yellow which I wish we would’ve known, and the salsa was more Picante salsa style. Not the best. We ordered a burger and a Philly cheesesteak with fries for both of us. The burger was very undercooked towards the end of the burger and it grossed my husband out and killed the rest of his appetite. My Philly was excellent. Our fries were cold and floppy which was unfortunate. Although the appetizer wasn’t the best, we were still slightly picking at it and the waitess took it away before we were even done with it. We didn’t notice until she was already gone with it.
I do want to end on a good note. The waitress was very welcoming and stayed on top of everything we needed besides the incident with taking away our appetizer before we were done. We just didn’t feel comfortable complaining because we’re people pleasers and felt bad lol. Our total was almost $60 with tip which we felt was a lot for food we didn’t enjoy. We know for next...
