::EDIT:: changing this review to a 4 star, because of the way the GM handled my complaint. Less than an hour after my feedback I received a phone call and a very genuine and heartfelt apology. It’s not often you get a response/solution that quickly and I truly believe he will make an effort to improve the situation for others going forward. However, I will wait a few weeks for him to handle the issues before I make an appearance again! ;)
my family ordered 3 meals as I was going to split chicken nachos with my youngest. We requested four waters but the lady at checkout said “but you only ordered three meals”. She then didn’t hand us ANY cups and we had to reach over to serve ourselves.
Next we get our chicken nachos which was a severe disappointment. I asked to get sour cream on the side (got none - while my husband requested no sour cream on his order and it was still on them so yet another mess up with the order) and basically paid 11 dollars for a bowl of chips with hardly any queso and a smidge of grated chicken on it. This left much to be desired.
I approached the front to ask if they could add more queso as 90 percent of it was dry. I wasn’t going to even bring up the lack of chicken. I Was told by the girl helping me that her manager asked if we could pay for the extra queso.
I wasn’t trying to pay 11 dollars for a bowl of chips. i was given my sour cream (which was more than the queso on the nachos!!) and sent back to my seat.
I get my credit card return and return with the place to the desk to ask for a refund so I can order something that will actually feed us. (at this point queso on the chips would have surely pacified us and been less work and waste for all), but instead management refunded me without speaking/apologizing and turned on their heel and told one of the young employees to ring up what I wanted.
A simple fix of queso could have saved the whole situation and a lot of frustration.
With rising costs of everything, it’s already hard to afford and then makes it feel much worse to feel cheated at food establishment. We spent 35 dollars and the majority of the order...
Read moreif i were rating my 1st round of food i would have rated it higher because it was beautifully put together when my husband brought it to me in the car. HOWEVER, when i took the 1st bite of the chicken lettuce cup i almost threw up because it had guacamole on it. partially my fault because i ordered it a la carte without looking at the full menu. still would have been nice to have a description there as well. went to take a bite of the beef lettuce cup and there was guacamole on that one too!! my husband closed them both back up and took them back in and kindly asked for them to be remade without guacamole. the waitress said guacamole doesn't come on the beef. she took a fork and sifted through the beef cup, as if he were lying or something. she then asked the cook if he put guacamole on the beef lettuce cup, he says yes, she says it doesn't go on the beef. they get remade, he brings them out to me, i open the boxes to find this unnecessary mess!! 😒 like, what did i do to you cook at smitty's garage?? the 1st round had plenty of filling, nice lettuce and was presented neatly. this looks like he just threw scraps in the containers and shook them up 🤦🏽♀️ AND the chicken cup had no corn salsa this time. looks like he threw pico on instead. after looking at this i no longer had an appetite and didn't want to deal with this place again. so we left and i doubt...
Read moreOrder food, get a number and cup, fill cup at soda station, pick seat, place number above papertowel roll, and they'll bring out the food. They also collect your plates when you're done. (I'm putting this because I was unsure if we had to drop it off somewhere.) Started with the loaded queso and chips, which was good and already filling. Got the mushrooms Swiss burger (side of onion rings) and Jalapeño bacon burger (no side). Both were delicious. The pattie was crispy on the sides while still tender on the inside, which was amazing. Onion rings came out hot hot, and I could've had more crisp to it, but it was still good! (I mixed ranch and ketchup for the dip.) Drinks - we got The Prince (mule) and the Tropical Crush (Mai Tai), and man, it was both delicious! Miss Janessa gives you a warning that the Mai Tai is hella sweet. It definitely packs a punch. I got two! All staff are very friendly, the establishment is clean, and so are the bathrooms. Food and 2 drinks each was a total of around $60, which is a steal in my eyes. Booths, high tables, or bar for to choose for seating. They do have...
