I feel sorry about how Chipotle’s reputation seems to have taken a dive. In an effort to seek understanding, I believe that there has to be some common ground both parties (restaurant and public) can stand on while working together in crafting a tasty meal.
Seeing the disappointment and frustration in the reviews for this location, I reflect on my own experience serving at Sweetgreen.
I put myself in the Chipotle server’s shoes because I too have fallen flat on my face multiple times and royally screwed up in front of long lines of customers making important selections. I understand that servers will make mistakes, but I support them through this because they understand that 1) their work is my dinner tonight and 2) I’m counting on them to do their best.
Interacting with customers face to face is a learning process. This might be their first job for some of the staff. Responding to hungry road construction workers, beautiful weather, and the increasing demand for a personalizable and filling product, the Bluemound staff has been working very hard this year.
Having felt what a Chipotle server goes through while interfacing with customers, I also pay close attention to and taste the preparation intentionality of Chipotle’s rice and protein ingredients. I experience the care that they put into the food.
Both the carne and brisket (in my personal perception) are truly prepared to perfection. Smokiness, balanced seasoning, fat within the meat slices, roasted and moist.
— The smoked brisket is brand new and I received some spectacular scoops. I approached them with kindness and respect, patience, and openmindedness. I was the only person in the line as the day ended, and I am justified in the price point because excellent quality food takes time and investment.
Looking forward to enjoying the watermelon lemonade sometime! Thank you so much guys; your perseverance and attention to my personal portion requests made for a super delicious evening. Keep up the great work. I love...
Read morewhat is happening to this location used to be good good service nd clean environment where the staff working in the line used to be conscious of how they handled food and now the service and MOST IMPORTANTLY HYGIENE has gone soo down the drain Im forced to write this review today after what has been a terrible experience. I got there 1.5 hrs before closing and they añready ran out of stuff ( no white rice or glauc and this has been the case lately where they have been running out off stuff) i thought ok may be busyday and understaff to refill. I ordered and in the end wanted lettuce as they were out so one of the staff went to get it from inside ( there were a couple before and after me and we all wanted lettuce) while we were waiting one of the line member who handled the end of the line started cleaning the counter pushing the food off the table and as soon as the lady came back with the lettuce tub this girl who has been cleaning the counter used the SAME HAND Picked up the lettue and dropped in our food NO GLOVE CHANGE 🤬nothing r u FREAKING kiddin me i wouldnt have belive had i not seeing this happen right infront of my eyes i asked the girl at the register about this and she soo blatantly denied saying i didnot see it and the one who used the same hand i swear was smirking all the while ading lettuce on others food orders without slightest of hesitation still no glove change . I have to say i was left speechless what would u say whn they blatantly denied whats happening its not like there was crowd nd the girl did not have tym even tht cannot be an excuse It just reflects the attitude of the person working behind how careless they are and not caring a damn about cleanness. Im not going to go back in here nf CHIPOTLE if u care about ur customers please alteastmake sure u train ur staff on basic courtesy of handling food and hygiene thats the least you can do if this continues this location is one ecoil outbreak away from closing and all would wonder how this can happen...
Read moreLOVE their food BUT customer service is lacking most of the time. Our office orders lunch from here often; at times orders are wrong but if we call to let them know they find a way to correct it-have even offered to give a free lunch at next visit. Today we tried to order and had a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Got an automated (un)intelligence on the line-COULD NOT GET TO A HUMAN!!! After many attempts placing the order with the AI, we finally got it to go through, even entered a credit card number to pay for the order, but when we were transferred to the restaurant (to confirm order?) we were hung up on!! Tried calling about 10 times to confirm order-apparently they don’t answer phone calls between 12-1 now!? (Would be helpful to have the AI tell you that when you call in!) Finally went to the restaurant to at least get food but also to see if order did go through and might be sitting there waiting for us to pick up-nope. Discussed the situation with counter person (human at least) but got NO WHERE! They didn’t even know their phone line had an automated answering system! They had us call corporate, also human, also useless!! They didn’t even know about the automated phone line answering system! Is it even a Chipotle run system then? Such a frustrating experience! We were offered NO compensation for this frustrating event; no reassurance that the credit card was not charged and, to “add insult to injury”, nothing, not even an apology, for the lack of dressings (1) for the three salads we ordered, “the blender broke down”. So no dressing for our...
