I had a terrible experience with this massage company and will never go back. They have two Groupons online for two separate locations. One is for a massage at the Buckhead location, and one is for a facial at the Brookhaven location. I wanted to pamper myself and was looking to purchase a facial and a massage. I saw the massage groupon first so before purchasing, I called the Buckhead location to see if they had any availability before I purchased the groupon. They told me they did have availability and told me not to purchase the groupon I could instead come in and pay there and they would honor the groupon. I said ok that works. So I instead purchased the groupon for a facial at the Brookhave location. I went and got my massage yesterday at the Buckhead location and called to make my appointment for today for the facial at the Brookhaven location. I mentioned I had a groupon when I called and the guy I spoke with said it was fine. I drove 30 minutes today to get a facial just to be told I couldnt get one unless I paid full price because they could see in the system I was just at the other location yesterday and I cannot use a groupon for their company and I am only allowed to use one once every six months. I told the African American woman manager who was working there that I did not purchase a groupon for the other location because I was told to come in and they would honor the price. I also told her that I mentioned my groupon when I booked my facial at the Brookhaven location and no one said anything about it, and they could see that I had visited the other location in Buckhead. I asked the manager who was over her so I could file a complaint and she lied and said she couldnt give me that information. I am now trying to research and figure out how to find her boss because this is just crazy to me. This was so inconsiderate, so unprofessional, and such a waste of time. I will never again support...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis review is long overdue. Iāve been to this location many times for massages and facials and Iāve always had a good experience. Although, as with any massage therapy establishment, sometimes it takes multiple visits before you find that therapist that suits you. For me, that therapist is Mr. Jeron K.
Mr. Jeron is a fantastic therapist! He absolutely listens to your concerns and pays attention to trigger points. I mentioned having done lateral pull downs a few days prior and he put focus on that muscle group. It was pretty impressive when he named the muscles (teres major? teres minor? traps? I feel like Iām just making up muscle names here...LOL!!) as he applied pressure and moved my arms to get them to release. He does an excellent job at applying the appropriate amount of pressure and coaching you to breathe through knots or tight muscles that require deeper pressure to be released. Unlike many therapists Iāve gone to, he also incorporates stretches if itās necessary. Considering I run several times a week, I really appreciate the stretches as well.
So far, Iāve had 3 sessions with Mr. Jeron. After my first session, Iād swear my muscles were at ease for at least a week! Thinking that may have just been a fluke, I scheduled a 2nd session with him a month later. Same Result! Another fantastic massage that lasted for days!! I appreciated the consistency, therefore I scheduled a third session with him.
Mr. Jeron is extremely professional, knowledgeable and personable. He also has a great sense of humor (Iām a bit of a goofball and I joked with him about a previous therapist that had hairy forearms...ugh!! I made him laugh when I commended him on having smooth forearms!! LOL!). I will indeed return for additional sessions with Mr. Jeron in the future and highly recommend him for anyone with specific problem areas. Thank you Mr. Jeron for such...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had been going to this place religiously for a few years for facials and massages. I enjoyed the massages at the Decatur location better until in 2024 when I started going to Kelvin. he is an awesome masseuse. The facials were excellent by Lamia here. Lamia was very gentle and attentive to my sensitive skin. She is only available on certain days so I had to start going to someone else, I went to Katalina. Katalina was great the first time. The second time, her microdermabrasion was too firm I broke out profusely after the facial, and the hot towel she used on my neck gave me a blustery burn and left a permanent mark on my neck. Please ensure your towels are not too hot, or not hot at all for sensitive skin. Also she used too many new products (extra vitamin C for example) on my sensitive skin (did she forget that I said I had sensitive skin?). I stopped my facials after that. My last massage visit was rescheduled since the AC went out in the building at the Brookhaven location in April 2024 and it was a massage in a super cold room and I could not relax at all, even after I said it was cold. I did not tip my normal rate this time. But I always gave a generous tip. I decided to cancel my membership when I even told the masseuse it was cold and he did nothing. I tried to cancel the month prior but was convinced by the new owner not to. But after my cold room (60 degrees) unrelaxing massage I decided to cancel. They need 30 days advance for cancelation, so they gave me a grace period for my last service until July. Spas should never be cold! Make sure the rooms are warm enough for the client, not the masseuse. Nothing special about these monthly subscription massage places. I will stick with my personal at home masseuse from now on. And I can now do my own facial using the dermatologic...
