I recently dined at Hongkong Cafe and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was exceptional. I ordered the General Tsao's Chicken and Chicken Teriyaki, both of which were absolutely delicious. The General Tsao's Chicken had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, with crispy chicken pieces coated in a flavorful sauce. BEWARE THE OTHERS ARE RIGHT I ended up with a case of food poisoning so bad from this place after my 3rd takeout order I had to be hospitalized. I was knocking on deaths door by day 5, no exaggerating. It was the worst experience of my life so far and I'm not very old. DO NOT RISK IT. THEY SHOULD NOT BE SERVING FOOD. MISTAKES WERE MADE. Ordered delivery from this place. Waited an hour and a half for my order. Finally called to ask where my delivery was (because I live maybe 5 minutes up the street) and the woman who answered claimed that she “called to cancel my order because I ordered sauce on the side and they can’t do that”. I never received a phone call, so that is just a blatantly lie. They NEVER called me. When I asked if I could have my order without the sauce on the side, all the woman said was that she was too busy and then hung up on me. Don’t bother giving your business here.
