Only leaving one star because there is not an option to leave less. I've been a business member since 1992 and will never again step foot in sams club. 3 times in the past few months I've spent hours loading carts and waiting in mile long check out lines only to be turned away at the register. It's embarrassing! The first time my card would no longer scan so they asked if I could step over to customer service to get a replacement card. (No big deal) after waiting in line again for 25 minutes to get a new card I went back over to the registers to find my cart I spent almost 2 hours loading gone and sent back to the shelves. I didn't make a fuss but was pressed for time so I left without the $400 in goods I needed to purchase. The next time I went back to get supplies for 75 guests coming in just a few days, same thing spent almost 3 hours loading and waiting in line to be turned away again. The reason given was that my membership was revoked! I said that's impossible I've been a member for 24 years and never had any issues. I also said you just made me get a new card last time I was here. I asked if my membership fees were due and if I could pay them to be reinstated? They said no fees are due the account was revoked you can sign up for a new account or leave our store. After being treated like a trespassing criminal by the management I left. Again time wasted and about $600 in products I was not allowed to purchase. This time I drove straight to their competitor and opened a membership with them because I didnt have time to mess around. Later that day I get a call back from sams club saying they found the issue. Here the clerk entered the wrong member number on my new card and I just have to come back and get another new card and everything would be back to normal. About 2 months passed and I finally went back to give them another chance and waited in line again for another card. Today they did it again to my wife of 10yrs. She spent 1.5 hours loading a cart worth about $350. Only to be turned away at the register. She also had my membership card and tried to use it, they said unless her name is on my card as well she cannot use it. The manager refused to talk to me over the phone about it and said maby another manager will but she won't. (pretty rude) so she left and drove straight to the competitor and spent $500 with no problems. I don't even care to know what the problem is this time I told her to leave my card on the counter because we are not going back! We are not the biggest spenders at wholesale clubs but 500 to 1000 a month has been our average. I don't expect high roller treatment by any means from sams club, just to be able to leave the store with items I want to purchase like any other customer paying for a membership. This has happened numerous times over the years but not like recently. The management never understands this and the only resolve they ever have is to be as rude as possible to get you to leave the store as soon as possible so they can get back to not making other customers happy. Every time I'm in sams there is a customer battling with management over the same issues and has become a running joke. Obviously I run my business differently than sams club. if I were losing a good customer of 24years because of rude management and constant error on my company's part I would do everything in my power to listen and correct the problems. I tried being patient and understanding but it has become clear that this faceless corporation obviously doesn't care one bit about customers. My time is far more valuable to me than the products I buy at sams club and surly will not return to be met by the combatant, error prone and rude folks running this store.    Read moreI had to return a perfume that was a gift. I was told to go to the jewelry section, which was fine. We waited for about 15 minutes and went back to the customer service and asked if she could page someone. We waited for another 10 minutes until we saw an employee walking by, and we asked him if he could page someone. After about another 10 minutes, Carmen came to the counter. She was on her walkie or phone and didn't really look up and asked if I had a receipt. I told her that the receipt is on my account and without even looking up she was just adamant and rude about the fact that I needed a receipt so I walked back to customer and asked the rep there to print it out as the receipt was clearly on my account. At that point, the rep asked another individual who walked over if she could just handle the return at the desk. They went ahead and just took care it of it there.
I was appalled at Carmen's demeanor because not only did she treat me like someone that didn't matter, and she didn't want to be bothered because she couldn't even look away from her phone or whatever she had in her hand but as I was walking away there was another customer and that customer did have her receipt and she was still on her device. With my business membership about to expire, this sort of behavior is not something I want to tolerate. I've spent thousands of dollars, and this was ridiculous. I was even looking at a diamond ring that was on sale that I was interested in, but I think I'll pass.
I really do hope that Todd, the store manager, can handle this situation. On a side note, this is my second review. The one I wrote last week was 5 stars in all categories, but if I need to waste all this time, only to deal with nonsense is something that...
   Read moreWish I could give them -5 stars. Just horrible!! I am my aunt's care taker and she placed an order yesterday for 10am pick up today. I went to pick up at 10:30 and couldn't find an empty pick up spot to park. I caught an employee going back inside and asked what should I do because there were no spots. She tells me they are backed up and my aunt's order wasn't even started yet. I left and took care of some things and in the process my aunt got a message that her order was ready. I go back for the second time a bit after 12 only to find no spots available again. After waiting for someone to pull out I was finally parked and checked in. About an hr and a half later, multiple phone calls that either didn't get answered or hung up on me and I still didn't receive her order. People were leaving, going into the store and getting their own stuff and the 1 employee that was doing curbside couldn't tell anybody how long it would be. Where is management????? They should have been rolling carts outside taking care of us!!! There was no communication letting us know about this mess! 2 trips, 2hrs of my time and gas just to not get what my aunt needed is insane and unacceptable!!! DO NOT OFFER A SERVICE THAT YOU CAN'T FULFILL!!!!!! I will not let this rest and will take further action to inform WHOEVER I need to about this horrible experience and no kind of customer service but y'all take the money right away. No products and having to wait on a refund is not right! Management needs to do...
