We're Starbucks fanatics, so since we're usually in the Christiana area we decided to give this location a try. It was my mom, my grandmother and myself. We figured since it was brand new the service would be good. Boy were we wrong! We were the only car in the drive thru. The girl on the speaker seemed really confused, had to keep repeating order. Then we get to the window and the wait was for-ever!!!!!!! To make matters worse she gets the transaction wrong with my mom's gift card. The whole situation was a hot mess. She wasn't listening and was more intent on giving us what she wanted us to have. That's poor customer service. The customer is always right, even if you disagree. The drinks were tasty, so that's the only plus. I MIGHT come back again. They need a lot of customer service improvement before I can say I like this place.
Update I returned on 8/16/18, and I can officially say I will NEVER be back!!!!! This time it was my mom and I. We were leaving Best Buy and wanted Starbucks. My mom wanted to go to the one over in the mall, but I said no let's go to this location. I hadn't been back here in such a long time, so I figured they might've changed. I was very wrong. First off the drive thru line took a super long time, and there were only 2 cars in front of us. When we get up to the speaker the employee on the other end couldn't hear my mom, which was weird because I'm sure the speaker is relatively new. We did manage to place our order. I forget exactly what they're called, but we wanted to try the new protein and coconut frappes. Finally get up to the window and come to find out the girl who took our order had the time for the happy hour special wrong, so we had missed the discount on that particular frappe. How do you work here and not know about the specials??? So my mom said we had originally wanted a java chip anyway, we were just trying something new. The girl at the window was so confused about how to swap out the drinks she just made, so she ended up telling us the protein frappe had no sweetness whatsoever, so we were like ok great to know thanks we'll get a java chip after all. But then she was baffled about whether it was best for us to wait at the window while she made the java chip frappes, or leave and pull into a space and we could go inside to get them. After a lot of unnecessary confusion on her part we left the drive thru window and pulled into a parking space. But then the java chips took forever to make, so we waited an additional 20 mins. Although they tasted amazing when we finally got them, I'm never coming to this Starbucks again. These employees are pathetic. They don't know what they're doing and they're perplexed about everything. I'm extremely disappointed because the convenience of location is great, it works out if you're already in this shopping center, but from now on we'll have to make the trek over to the mall when we want frappes or iced coffee, and that's a pain. They just need to close this location. It's not even worth firing the current employees just to replace them because you would be taking too much of a chance. There's nothing I can't stand more than a Starbucks where the baristas and cashiers are both idiots. I am a dedicated fan of this company, so if my frappe or iced coffee is made improperly that's enough to ruin my whole day. Plus these drinks cost too much money to mess up. I went this morning for the honey citrus mint tea (7:08a)... it's my cure when I'm not feeling well :) I went through the drive thru and ordered my drink. As I was waiting for my order to display on the screen, the lady said something to the effect of "I'm just clicking on things" I said ok (truly not really sure of what she said) and I continued to wait. She then advised me that I could come to the window. Just as she was saying that, I saw Chamomile xxx pop up on the screen and then disappear. I said to her "I think I just saw something that said Chamomile I wanna make sure" and before I could finish my sentence, she said "I just told you I was clicking around." Unfortunately I lost my cool I recited "I just told you" and said to her who are you talking to, you don't talk to customers like that, are you $ crazy (used a word that I rarely use) and requested to see the manager at the window. She had the audacity to say "well l'm a supervisor and I'II see you at the window." I repeated that I want a manager and pulled around, which is where I was greeted by Jasmine. The way Jasmine handled me in this situation was very professional. I did not get the young lady's name however she was very rude and borderline belittling. I have never been spoken to like this at any Starbucks. My encounters here are usually very pleasant. I really hope you are able to send her to customer service training.

I order same coffee almost everyday. Yesterday and today morning I went for my coffee and breakfast. Yesterday the coffee I got was a huge blunder. I asked for an extra espresso shot in my coffee and instead of having it in my coffee , I had it ON my coffee. The person who made it he added shot on top of the coffee that was made. Which made my coffee very watery and really bad. So today I told the lady at drive thru that this happened yesterday can you please remake me one , and she handed me 4$ card. In actual I paid 7.25$. Then I ordered a new order today. Where she told me 13$ at first. Then she told me to scan it again and she charged 18$. As I was really late for work I just had to rush and couldn’t get chance to drink my coffee at that moment. On my way when I had my coffee she forgot to add mocha or any sweetener to it ! Then while I was looking for store contact number I got to know she charged 18$ instead of 13$. I called her that even today my coffee is horrible as it was very very bitter.
