Okay so I got to visit this place for the first time. I am giving it the five star rating on what two of us are. First off the service was fantastic, seated right away and the chips and salsa came immediately. A+ on the chips and salsa, for me it was the perfect amount of heat and I like the chunkier salsa and actually had a second helping. My date had the chicken enchiladas, which I got to sample and both of us thought they were very good as I don't care for chicken in my Mexican food. I ordered the steak fajitas with the flour tortillas. It came with rice and beans. The rice and beans both had great flavor! The rice was more solid and not soft or soggy. Also the beans where of a thicker consistency as I have had a very runny Bean at other restaurants which I dislike. But I must say the steak strips sizzling with the onion and green pepper I had was fantastic! I had no gristle or pieces I couldn't chew which is amazing, the flavor was fantastic, I actually just took my fork and was eating the steak with the onion and green pepper. The portion was great for the $13.50 price. You get three tortillas, the 5-inch ones not the 3in or the 7in. I thought I would need to order more tortillas but the whole meal had filled me up. I know I will definitely come here again. I wish it would have been later in the day when I could have ordered margaritas and seen if they were as good and priced Right as the meal we had. Remember this is just my opinion and my tastes on what we had. Maybe burritos and tacos will be next and that will be...
Read moreIt was my first time there highly recommended by my dinner party. When we walked in we were able to sit anywhere. The AC was not up to par you sat there and it was quite warm and the air was only circulating by fans.
The soda beverages had to be returned to get something else the syrup must not have been mixed in well it was like pure syrup. There were four meals chosen one was a taco salad with ground beef one was a taco salad with chicken I had the chicken and steak fajita and my other friend had the three tacos and they put a sauce on them which was not cared for. The chicken taco salad came out with soup it was draining soggy up the plate with a liquid from the taco salad and there was not that much protein in the salad. The other taco salad again there was not much ground beef in that taco salad not very tasty and they really was not a lot of anything in those Taco salads for the size of the tortilla shell. They put a tomatillo sauce on top of those tacos which was the first time that's ever happened to them there this is not their first time dining there. And I had the chicken and steak fajita which was perfect.
One out of three entrees for a party of four is not a very good rating especially for a...
Read moreMy friends and I tried Alejandro's for the first time yesterday. Service was okay and the waitress was nice. Chips and salsa tasted good, but not a generous amount of salsa. My friend and I both ordered hard shell ground beef taco dinners. They brought soft taco shells instead of hard. And nothing came on them. Just ground beef. No cheese nothing so we had to ask for lettuce cheese sour cream and tomatoes. We both tasted the soft taco shells and they were horrible. Tasted bland rubbery and stale.. then they brought the crunchy shells and they were flavorless and also seemed stale and fell apart completely when you took a bite. The yellow rice that came with the meal had very little flavor. The refried beans that normally come with lots of melted cheese on top had VERY LITTLE cheese. The flavor was okay but it was not a generous portion compared to other Mexican restaurants I've been to. The atmosphere was nice. I'm from a big city and have eaten at many authentic Mexican restaurants with excellent cuisine. This was not the best. Overall experience wasn't completely bad, but it wasn't great. I don't think I'll...
