Absolutely horrible service. If it wasn’t for the water/bus guy, we would have definitely walked out. Our so called waiter had the personality of a plane crash.
7pm ish Saturday night: Walked in. Seated immediately. Was promptly served two waters in normal glasses for my wife and I and two and kids cups for my two kids. Very quick and friendly was this water guy. Well, that was the last of the good experience at this place. Then we waited what seemed like an extremely long amount of time for someone else to show up besides the water guy. I had set the timer on my phone at two minutes and counting and said “OK. We’ll give it two minutes and if someone’s not here, we’re leaving.” 30 seconds later, A younger gentleman with an iPad walks over and just stands at the table. No smile. Not greeting. No nothing, just stern faced and doesn’t say a word. First thought on my mind is; wow how on earth is this guy a waiter. Did he get drafted by these people from the carwash next-door to fill in for somebody that didn’t show up to work? Well since we had waited so long I got right to it and immediately asked a question; ”is this salmon in this dish farm raised or wild caught?“ waiter- (Still stern faced and monotone) “ I don’t know.” And that was it. No explanation. No I’ll go find out or let me see or anything just I don’t know, then awkward silence. I waited for an awkwardly long amount of time and then just said OK then I will have the crab masala Which was my Plan B. The waiter typed it into the iPad and then still without saying a word just looked at the iPad and waited for my wife to order. She ordered the tandori mixed grill and the cauliflower ghobi appetizer. I also ordered a beer from the waiter which of course never showed up.
A little while later, I call it a normal amount of time, our entrées came out. The crab masala Was slightly smaller in portion than I had expected for the price but was tasty. It was although lukewarm at best definitely not hot. When the tandori mixed grill was set down I almost laughed at the size of the portions. It was three tiny little pieces of meat no bigger than maybe 3 or 4 oz each sitting on a tiny bit of rice for $24? Are you kidding me? I expected a platter of meat for $24. The combination bread basket we ordered was eight dollars and had eight, 1/4 sized pieces of naan and kulcha in it. I thought to myself WOW, naan is a dollar a piece for a quarter of a piece. You’ve got to be kidding me? At Namaste, Jewel of India, Indiana Nepal Oven, or any of the other Indian restaurants in town, naan is like $2 or $2.50 for a basket with what seems like around six pieces or so. KISS ME FIRST HERE!!!!
After our meal I went to wash my hands. I came back from the bathroom and a gal who was apparently the manager, brought the check and asked me how everything was. I laid it out and told her that this was definitely one of the worst and most memorable services in any restaurant we have ever had. I told her our waiter had the personality of a plane crash and should be working at a gas station. Interaction with people should be something that he should avoid at all costs, and on top of all that he forgot my damn beer. The manager then said I’ll make sure that the beer gets taken off your check. I burst into laughter hysterically at that one. I said “well I would assume so” in a very sarcastic jaded tone. The manager gal asked me what we can do to make it right and then attempted to give me a gift card. I told her I did not want to gift card as we will never be returning back here. She told me just to take it and maybe give them another try sometime in the future. I’m trying right now to think of an enemy or somebody that I really hate to give this gift card to.
Pros: Easy parking The water guy/table busser was nice
Cons: WAAAAAAYYYYYY OVERPRICED! Tiny little portions Food not served at proper temperature

Read moreThe food was delicious. I love Indian food, and the garlic naan was one of the best I've tried.
This would have to be in the top five worst services I've ever had. The hostess was busy setting up tables, so it took a bit to greet and get us seated, which is understandable, it was a busy night. After sitting at the table for about 15 minutes, we were finally greeted by a server, and he jumped straight to it, asking us is if we were ready to order (without even a "hello" or "how are you?"). I used to be a server at Olive Garden for five years where I was taught an elaborate greeting that had to happen within 30 seconds of the table being sat, and my boyfriend was a server/bartender as well; so we were caught of guard by this server's greeting. After we ordered, we were greeted a few minutes later by another server, who was very nice, asked how we were doing and if we were having a good night; however he also asked if we had any questions about the menu because the first server had not taken the menus off the table after we ordered. My boyfriend explained that we had already ordered, the server politely apologized and said they worked together.
Our appetizer came out in a very timely manner; however we were not given any appetizer plates, and when I looked around I saw that all the other tables around us had them. So, as a former server, I figured someone would notice and bring us plates. We waited and nobody even bothered to stop by the table to check on us. I ultimately decided to stand up and ask the hostess for some plates. She politely apologized and brought us plates. We ordered the samosas, which were delicious. Soon after, the first server came over and asked (again) if we were ready to order. (My boyfriend and I ordered the Azitra Mixed Grill to share because neither of us were hungry enough to have our own meal). I told the server that I thought we already ordered. He ran back to the computer and then came back to the table and read out our order to us. After I confirmed our order, he said the portion was very small, and asked if we were sure that's all we wanted. I looked at my boyfriend in confirmation and told him "Yes, thank you for the offer, but we'd like to share the entree" and he offered some garlic naan, so I agreed and ordered the naan.
Our mixed grill came out, and it was very good. Everything was cooked perfect, and the spices and sauce were perfect compliments. Unfortunately, after about 10 minutes, our garlic naan still had not come out. My boyfriend asked the second server as he walked by if he could check and see if it was ready, and he immediately brought some out for us. It was one of the best garlic naan I've had.
After we finished, our plates were cleared off the table, and the first server brought out a dessert that was brought to every table. I am allergic to nuts, and this ice cream looked as if there were some kind of nuts on it, so I asked him if there was nuts in the dessert, explaining that I had an allergy. He went to the kitchen to check and came back with these exact words: "Unfortunately there are nuts in the dessert, but he can enjoy it!" (pointing to my boyfriend). I was so shocked by the comment, all I could do was laugh. He did not offer to get me something else that would not send me to the hospital.
All in all, the food was really great, I would definitely order take-out; however I will never go...
Read moreMy partner and I just ate here with our friends and had a horrible experience. After we were seated, our server came over and took our wine order and then left us for the rest of our meal. We got our wine, but nothing else came. Two of us had ordered off the Denver restaurant week menu and two of us had ordered off the regular menu. Our server said she would come back and let us know if some of the food was gluten free and she never did. Then we waited for 45 minutes until our first appetizer came out. When it did, it wasn't what we had ordered and we had various dietary restrictions which we had detailed for our server which the appetizer we got didn't meet. When we let someone know, they told us they would be right back. Then we waited for 30 minutes with this food in front of us and our server never came over. We asked someone filling up our water for help and she told us "I don't know how to fix your situation, it might be a while". Finally, we asked someone to see our server, and she came over and stated "what's wrong, did I forget to bring something out?". All of us at this table have worked in food service, so we tried to explain it to her kindly and she was very abrasive and didn't even apologize for our food. Finally, someone brought out what we thought was our food but it was seafood, after we had told our server that we had a seafood allergy at the table. Finally, they brought out our food, but they had never brought our appetizers which we had ordered over an hour ago. We let them know, and they brought them. Then we had to remind them of our dietary restrictions and correct some of the meal because it didn't come out right and we couldn't eat it. Finally, someone came over and we told them what happened and they brought a manager, who said they would discount our food. Then we got dessert and it wasn't what was on the menu which was very disappointing.
They ended up giving us a discount on food and free appetizer coupons, but then informed us that we couldn't use the coupons during this meal. It was very frustrating because we had driven about 35 minutes to get there and will not be going back, so they were useless for us.
Overall, I felt that the service was truly horrible and was upset to have spend my money here. It was a busier night, but it wasn't like there was a line out the door, the tables were all just full.
One thing I will say, they never let our waters get empty. They came back every 2 minutes or so to fill them, which was frustrating since we weren't...
