Decided to have domino’s for the first time in months and had the absolute worst experience. Took an hour for the food to be delivered when it finally arrived 40min after the app said it had left the store the pizza was cold and not even edible, when we called the store and asked for a refund we were told they cannot refund our order and when asked the name of the manager and the one speaking on the phone was told “I’m the gm I don’t have to give you my name” and hung up on. We then called back 10min later trying to get the information to talk to the supervisor and ask who the owner of this location was and was hung up on multiple times and the time they finally decided not to hang up was just for them to say “I don’t know call 1-800-dominos”. I filled out multiple of the complaint forms and I can’t help but find it ridiculous that it’s all automative and nearly impossible to get the situation resolved in a timely manner without needing to call the store where they clearly don’t want to fix the issue and refuse to give customers refunds when they are well within their rights to ask for one. Reading the reviews for this location shows that this seems to be a common occurrence, maybe it’s time to do an overhaul on your managers and crew, when people are paying close to $100 for pizza they shouldn’t have to be expected to be okay with receiving cold food they can’t even eat and not even get the option to get their money back because the employees in the store want to be immature.
I will say this I do work in fast food and am a manager where I work I know exactly what its like working when it’s busy and shorthanded and you have unhappy customers calling to complain but when someone calls or comes in asking for a refund all you need to say is “if you have the food or your receipt we can do the refund for you”… it truly is not complicated and refusing to give your name and having employees refuse to give any sort of information for who else a customer can talk to to get the situation resolved is just stupid, just make it right, it’s...
Read moreOrdered car side pick up tonight. The online order tracker said it would be ready at 634 so I left my house at 634 to give them an extra 10 minutes to ensure it was ready when I got there. My order tracker said it was completed, i could see they had one other customer inside waiting at the counter so I decided I would just walk inside to grab my order myself. Wasn’t greeted by any employee when we walked in, despite several workers making eye contact. Every employee looked miserable. Finally a guy asked if I was there for pick up, I said yes & told him my name. He said my order wasn’t ready yet. No worries, my daughter and I sat down at a table to wait. We waited 20 minutes before I returned to the front counter & waited another 5 minutes before a different employee asked if I’d been helped. I asked about my order, she looked around but it still hadn’t been prepared. She asked this other guy who maybe could have been a manager ?🤷🏻♀️ idk but he said it’d be 10 more minutes. I asked if I could just get my money back at this point. He told me I’d have to wait and call at the close of business to ask for a refund. I wasnt interested in wasting more of my time today and dealing with the hassle of calling them later tonight to get my money back so I told them whatever, I’ll just wait 10 more minutes. They finally provide my food order & we leave.
Cool. Right?
Wrong. I get home and pop open my pizza box to find that they’ve given me the oldest crustiest ass pizza. All dried out & looks like it was baked 3 days ago, sat out on the counter overnight & then reheated under the heat lamp. My Parmesan bites have zero Parmesan on them. They just little bread balls nothing more, nothing less. My wings had one single drop of sauce. And it looked like the spit a big fat lougie on my not so appetizing crusty ass pizza. Not to mention I think I’m going to get rabies just from the...
Read moreI guess they're not the 30 minutes or less guys anymore. In the past I was able to rely on this location for speedy pizza even at night, which is rare around here. Ordered from this location last night at 10:10pm. Estimated delivery time 41-51 minutes. Awesome! At 10:35pm my order was out of the oven and verified. It LEFT THE STORE 30 minutes later at 11:05 - I received an oh so kind text to inform me it was coming. 2.2 miles away in night traffic should have taken 10 minutes (being generous) so at 11:35 when my pizza was still not in my hands I called the store for an update. I was hastily told it's on its way, No apologies, no empathy. Just "you'll get it, bye". It was not surprise at all when both pizzas were cold upon arrival - luckily I anticipated this and already had the oven warmed up. Today, with how my guts feel i'm certain at least some things spoiled due to the hour they sat at room temperature. So I ate spoiled food an HOUR after the anticipated delivery. My suggestions: quote realistic expected times. Also if you know you are short on drivers and are getting more orders than expected, hold the item with a 15 minutes cook time a little longer before going into the oven so that you're not poisoning your customers. I'll stick to carry-out for now as the pizza(when hot and timely)...
