Olive Garden has become just another FAST FOOD dining experience. This restaurant has been operating for 1826 days or 5 years in business of repetitive grease after grease after grease on plate after plate after plate.
These are the 10 most important concerns ---------------
1.Restaurant dish washing machine DOES NOT SCRUB PLATES, GLASSES, DINING-WARE. 2.Found stuck on previous food grease and tomato sauce on my plate. 3.Found stuck on slime, syrup and grease on glasses, THE ENTIRE GLASS FROM TOP TO BOTTOM, INSIDE AND OUTSIDE. 4.Stained, spotted forks and knives. 5.There is no importance of hygiene of clean shining plates and glasses for serving food and drinks anymore. 6.There are no restaurants in the business of providing clean food preparation serving standards. 7.The grime, grease and scum is passed on to the next customer over and over again and again day after day night after night with absolutely no preoccupation from kitchen management team. 8.Olive Garden follows repetitive daily automated machine dish-washing with zero supervision whether grease and previous food was washed correctly. 9.Absolute lack of supervision of plate, bowl, glass, knife, fork proper clean condition. 10.The only concern for restaurants is keeping tables full and reap profits at the end of the closing hours.
NONE of these concerns were addressed with the waitress.

The waitress was very prompt, friendly and courteous. The problem is that she did not provide the correct monetary change in return. Bill was paid with $100.00 and was returned $10.00 whole less dollars than the correct change.
Approached waitress to explain to her that the change was wrong and she apologized. However upon returning the exact change back, she could not find the key to the cash box or the person responsible for the cash box to provide me with the EXACT CHANGE.
Waitress returned $2.00 less than the entire change - AND - she inappropriately asked if a tip was going to be given so she could afford the excuse of keeping the $2.00 that she was unable to return completely.
My father accompanied me to dine in - commented to him about the concerns of sanitation and money returned and he became furious. He asked to speak with the supervisor.
The supervisor was very courteous and he acknowledged that the restaurant ONLY washes and dries dishes BY MACHINE - NOT BY HAND.
The supervisor - manager did apologize and said he was sorry for the inconvenience.
The restaurant manager provided us with a $50.00 Olive Garden activated GIFT CARD for the trouble we encountered while dining in at the restaurant.
STILL - The problem will not change. Why? Because the general management orders arrive from the corporate system. Kitchen cooks, waiters, waitresses, managers and supervisors locally HAVE NO SAY, NO CONTROL, NO AUTHORITY to change or improve the cleaning standards.
My recommendation - EAT AT HOME Scrub your own dishes. Scrub your own glasses. Wash your own forks and spoons. Wash your own pots, pans and cooking ware. Clean and disinfect ALL surfaces and prepare your food AT HOME. Buy your own meals and prepare them AT HOME.
I understand that everyone has to work and life has become very fast paced, fast here, fast there and the population everywhere become hungry and wish to have warm healthy food. This is EVEN MORE AN EXCUSE to apply the healthiest sanitation standards ever.
THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE TOP COUNTRY IN THE WORLD IN HYGIENE.
But in the restaurant business especially large chain restaurants like Olive Garden the only priority apparently and to my like to my eyes is profit without concern for hygiene.
Thank you to Jose Carlos Cantu the Supervisor or General Manager of Olive Garden for listening to all the concerns mentioned to him at the end...
Read more8-3-25 First, we usually love Olive Garden. This was our first visit to this particular restaurant. We were seated in a section that had a large party (16-20) already there, and were given the same waitress. Luckily, we knew what we wanted so ordered before the party. We both got Create Your Own, wife Rigatoni with Marinara, me Bucatini with mushroom sauce. The marinara tasted off somehow, I think too much olive oil as it was slightly greasy, wife thought too much basil. I personally will never order Bucatini again. The noodles got cold and stiff quickly, and would not hold the sauce. We felt sorry for the waitress dealing with the party. The only help she got was to run food. She took all orders (writing them down) and ran drinks alone. After taking the orders, the "head of the family" gave her a hard time about how many salads to bring, and where to set them. When the plates started coming out, she would announce what she had, and he would direct where the plate was to go. As the last two plates came out, one woman asked for her soup. The waitress stated she had asked for and eaten salad, and she again insisted she asked for soup (but ate salad anyway, lunch is either/or not both) Then she said her plate wasnt correct, stating she had a special order. The waitress said it had come out first, was going to hand it to her, but the "head of the family" (she said he and pointed) directed it elsewhere. We were walking out and they were still arguing about where her plate had gone and who's...
Read moreOur waitress was Ysela. Most disrespectful server we have ever had. She had a pissy attitude from the start and it gradually got worse through the night. My son asked for water and she kept sighing and rolling her eyes like if we were wasting her time. She did not bring items we purchased and when we asked for them she gave us dirty looks and sighed and walked away. When she brought the bread (finally, half way through the meal) she threw it on the table and walked away. She didn't bring enough plates and gave us dirty looks and an attitude when we asked for refills, which she only did once. The whole time she was very rude and annoyed toward my mother and children, which I found unacceptable. When we were nearly done, we asked for the things we had requested but she was annoyed and asked if we still wanted them in such a manner that I declined and she happily sauntered off. The level of disrespect directed towards my family tonight shows me Olive Garden is no longer a family friendly environment. We paid for our meal and left. We will not be coming back and I discourage anyone from coming to this place if this is the kind of service to...
