I’ve always had good experiences with delivery and take out pizza from here but we decided to go inside and try out the buffet, and I was wholly disappointed. I was really looking forward to the salad bar, and this was the main reason I came. The salad bar had lots of empty spots and the place wasn’t busy at all. The only lettuce they had available was iceberg. The air conditioner was also out and I truly questioned the food safety of some of the stuff sitting out as some of the ingredients seemed warm to the touch after I put them on my plate. There was only one fresh pizza and the rest seem to have been sitting out for a while. The service situation was very confusing and I feel like they should just let you pay when you enter instead of making you wait on a server to seat you and bring you a check at the end. They only serve one thing…. a buffet, so I don’t see why you should have to wait on a check to go up to the counter to pay if you’re all just getting the same thing. To add insult to injury, I was really disappointed to see what was cut up chicken thighs soaked in sauce on the bar. If you aren’t going to do something right and still charge the same price for it then you shouldn’t do it at all. I understand the supply shortage situation but it would have been much less offensive to serve something else or nothing at all in place of the wings if you didn’t have any. Cutting corners on quality while still charging the same price for something is not a sign of a successful business. I’d like to see this place stick around but I really don’t think the quality is there for the price. I could have gone to Chilli’s for around the same price and had a much better meal. I hope this place can turn around but I am not hopeful. When we went there were about 10 employees while the only two that seemed to be working were the two ladies in the...
Read moreA Review of Potter's Pizza
In the bustling heart of the city, where the aroma of freshly baked bread and sizzling toppings wafts through the air, stands Potter's Pizza, a local institution that is delighting taste buds. I had the privilege of conducting review of this beloved establishment, exploring its culinary offerings, ambiance, and the overall experience it provides to its patrons. As I step through the doors, I am greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for the delightful journey that lies ahead. Welcomed by the smiling face of a worker named Jamie. Who was amazingly polite and said if we had any questions to ask. The menu at Potter's Pizza is a symphony of flavors, offering a diverse selection of artisanal pizzas, each crafted with meticulous attention to detail. The crust, a perfect blend of crisp and chewy, serves as the foundation for a medley of fresh, high-quality ingredients that dance upon the palate. One of the standout dishes I sampled was the Texas Heat pizza, a classic that showcases the restaurant's commitment to authenticity. The blend of spicy pepperoni, jalapeños, and a tangy tomato sauce creates a harmonious explosion of flavors that lingers long after the last bite. Equally impressive were the other options, such as the Salad Bar, which incorporated a vibrant array of choices to make you favorite salad. And don’t forget to try one of the amazing deserts like the Pineapple Upside Down Cakes or the others to choose from. We will definitely be back to...
Read moreI have eaten from the Brownwood location by ordering and picking up. Until this past weekend we went to see what's up on the buffet. We got there at the beginning of the buffet start time which from 5p-8p, about 515 we are sitting at out table. Pizza was almost completely wiped out, but they assured us there was more coming. They bought out 12 pizzas and it was 3 different kinds, but 4 pizzas to each kind which is okay no problem. But the wings were old, seemed like the just popped the left over wings from the lunch buffet in the microwave. They were gross. There were noodles but no sauce for our entire stay. And they only brought those above mentioned 12 pizzas out as well. Salad bar was lacking to say the least, definitely doesn't deserve the "awesome" title it was given on the website. The buffet in my opinion is not worth the price for the quality and honestly quantity you get. Even though it's new remodeled, it's very dirty inside. Like the plates were greasy we had to ask for different ones. The game room, most of the games were not working and it's very teeny tiny. The staff was very nice, but definitely overwhelmed and under trained. I felt bad for them. The pizza also wasn't it's best. When I have ordered and picked up prior to this visit, it was amazing. I for sure will just stick to ordering...
