Rosati's Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Brunswick Hills Township

Editing my previous 5 star review now that it's Rosati's. We tried it a couple times, but have taken our business elsewhere even though it's just a 2 minute drive for us and we were previously die-hard Honey Hut fans. We are a cone only family (no reason to splurge on the fancy stuff), but as other reviewers have mentioned, the prices are higher, servings smaller, it melts faster, and there just aren't enough flavor options on any given day to draw us in. 🫠 Sorry, Rosati's!

Honey Hut is our family's go-to ice cream place. They have fantastic flavors, a clean, pleasant atmosphere, and cheerful friendly staff. We love that it opens early in spring and stays open into December. I wouldn't miss their candy cane ice cream at Christmas time...

Posting on behalf of non-tech relatives who were told by the manager: Rosati's is owned by the same extended family as Honey Hut, however, custard can be made on-site at a higher temperature so it's more energy efficient as it requires less storage.

Relatives relayed it was not easy to read signage, there are less flavor options, and the cost was not clearly/easily visible. Their single scoop was described as roughly the size of a golf ball (see spoon in photos), lacking in flavor, and more expensive than Honey Hut despite the owner's energy savings. It was summed up as 'eh, not worth it'. They were so unimpressed with the custard and service that they immediately drove to Brecksville for Honey Hut for a better flavor and...

Overpriced yuck. Like McDonalds fake stuff that is not real custard. The small looks big in the picture and was like a kiddie cone for more than $3. As she handed it to me she said, sorry it's a bit melted. It was running down the sides all over my hand dripping in my car. She started to close the window. I said can I please have some napkins? She handed me a couple to mop up. I said can I have some for the other person in my car? The coconut cream pie had no coconut flavor. It tasted like vanilla whipped air with graham cracker sand tossed in. We won't be back. Miss Honey Hut. Really miss East Coast Custard. No good ice vream out here.
