The owner John and his wife give off vibes of they are racist and lack customer service hospitality. A friend and I stopped in to get food and drinks due to it being her birthday today just to relax after work nothing major. The food took a while to come out and I ordered a champagne cocktail with whiskey (he bartender put ice which was is crazy into the glass of champagne) the server who was extremely nice stopped and asked how were the drinks I told her that preferably Iâd rather not have the ice because it ruins the champagne. She politely handed it back to the bartender whom them just pours that same drink into another glass and hands it back to her to give to me. I nicely refused it. She said that she wouldnât drink it either and proceeded to take that one back and ask if he would make the drink correctly she came back implying that he had an attitude. He wound up making the drink but it was not with whiskey nor what Iâd originally ordered and so my friend asked if the manager could stop over to discuss the matter because we didnât want to keep the server in the middle. When he can over he did not speak he was rude saying whatâs up with the drinks and immediately trying to be defensive about the bartender implying that the bartender was right speaking with lots of aggressive body language and tone. He then proceeded to say that he wasnât gonna fix it to make it right So I said thatâs fine I donât want it I decided to leave at this point because I felt unwelcome I waited fir the server and gave her $20 tip for her service John and Tonya follow us out screaming you people always want stuff for free and speaking as if I couldnât afford to dine there. Iâm highly insulted and offended the he even called the police to say that I was stealing and that I was drunk. This is crazy yes I know. I did eventually pay. By sending the officer to pay inside with my money. The police agreed that they could have handled the situation better but threatened to take me to jail if I did not pay. Yes they were all the same. Ok. Right. To say the least it was an interesting experience tonight and I will not support their establishment and hope they can learn to respect their customers and try to understand that people want things right when we spend our money. Very very poor customer experience and I felt the racism boiling...
Read moreThis was my first time here & the place looked really nice but somewhat small which means there were not a lot of customers, however the drink orders took a long time to receive. It was a little past 5:00 & Happy Hour ends at 5:30 so when I finally got a drink I ordered another right away to meet the specials. I had the rum & juice that was really good. We had a party of 6 & everyone ordered. The food came out for one person & she had ordered a good bit of food & received everything at one time while everyone else was waiting. Then a little later a couple of more orders came out then a couple more, I had ordered the Caesar wrap & was told it shouldnât be much longer but it did take longer than I cared to wait because by that time my party was just about finished & I almost said never mind. I took a few bites & it was good but took it home. The first lady that got all her food at one time needed boxes that took forever to get. I will try them again because maybe a party of 6 was...
