Been wanting to try this place and finally did a few days ago. The girl that was up front at the register was very friendly, asked me what my plans were for the day, etc. Unfortunately, the other girl, who was running food (and sort of looked like a manager) tanked my experience. She just seemed so…. mean and had a very stuck up attitude. I kept getting bad looks (enough I almost spoke up to ask), and then when she handed me my plate, I said “thank you looks good” and she just walked away. No “thank you” no “hope you enjoy”… nothing. Just straight silence.
Bagels are good, but I honestly don’t think there is much to write home about. And I also believe $7 for just a bagel and “very light” cream cheese is a bit much. They don’t have a big selection of bagels either. They aren’t big bagels by any means… just overall left disappointed and not what I went in expecting, given the great reviews I have heard from others.
The cafe itself is clean and well kept, and a great place to bring a laptop.
I don’t see myself going back, but who knows. Might give it one more shot...

A year later, our second visit was as good as the first, maintaining the top-notch quality we remembered.
We had two bagels: The Garden State on an everything bagel with dill cream cheese and lox A Bacon, Egg & Cheese on a poppy seed bagel.
Key points: Both bagels were incredible, flawless even. The Garden State had perfectly ripe heirloom tomatoes. The Bodega sauce on the B/E/C really took the sandwich up a notch. bam Perfectly toasted and just soft enough on the inside. Don’t forget to check out their bagel special of the day
They also offer coffee and espresso drinks.
Finding a decent bagel place is always tougher than you'd expect. But Dutchman's has nailed it and continues to do a fantastic job. This place should definitely be on your list. Visit once, and I bet you'll go back again next time...
Read moreAbsolutely incredible experience at Dutchman’s! I ordered the lox bagel on an everything bagel—perfectly toasted—with cream cheese, capers, and onions, and it was out of this world. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love.
The service was just as outstanding—Emily Squared (yes, two awesome Emilys!) made my morning with their warmth and hospitality. They pointed me to Marina, who is the heart and soul of this place. Her passion for Dutchman’s shines through in every detail, and you can genuinely feel how much she cares about her team, her customers, and the entire experience.
As the owner of Morning Moose Coffee, I know what it takes to create a space where people feel valued and welcomed—and Dutchman’s absolutely delivers. If you’re in the area, don’t miss this spot. The food is amazing, the people are even better, and you’ll leave feeling like family. This place TOTALLY made my morning! My second time here and CERTAINLY...
