My visit to Hot Heads today was extremely disappointing due to the unprofessional behavior of an on-duty manager.
Upon entering, I observed three customers ordering a total of seven bowls, which appeared to visibly stress the employees, particularly the manager. After he finished preparing their orders, he came to assist me. I politely asked, "Would you mind washing your hands, please?" He responded angrily, "Why do I have to wash my hands if I'm wearing gloves?"
I shouldn't have to explain my personal reasons, but I have food allergies, which necessitated my request. The manager then proceeded to argue with me and continued making my food despite my request for another employee to assist me due to his disrespectful attitude. He ignored my repeated requests for another employee and continued to argue with me while preparing my order.
As he made my bowl, he repeatedly added incorrect ingredients, then removed them, leaving some behind. I found this to be incredibly disrespectful. Given that Hot Heads charges more than fast-food establishments like McDonald's, I expect a higher standard of service and quality, which was clearly lacking today.
At the register, I requested a discount to compensate for the manager's rude behavior. I do not appreciate being spoken to in such a manner and expect a response from corporate regarding this...
Read moreLove the food and the great customer service...HOWEVER...I'm not thrilled with the fact that we were asked to "tip" them...when I stood in line...I ordered everything on my burrito...I paid for my burrito...I refilled our beverages...and I cleaned up after myself when I was done eating. Yet they asked for a tip and made it awkwardly uncomfortable at that moment!!
Waiters and Waitresses get tips based on table service!! I don't tip the kitchen staff for putting the meal on my plate when I go out to dinner at other restaurants either!
UPDATE: Since Google Maps doesn't allow me to reply to the owner's comments directly, I guess I have to reply by doing an update.
The person running the register hit whatever button they did to make the credit card screen show where I needed to put in a tip. They then asked me how much of a tip I would like to give them?!
That's way different than just having a tip jar sitting there for me to donate to if I so choose!!
I'm even more surprised that you as the owner didn't apologize for what happened! I stated very clearly that the situation was very awkward and uncomfortable. Is that how you want your customers to feel when they come into your...
Read moreMy family and I love to eat here in fact we drive 40mins to do so. Today I said we are going to brunswick to avoid dealing with the rude guy from strongsville and there he was. This guy (Chris) he is the worst, he's rude and has no skills with customer service. There was one time my son and I went to strongsville after church to get food for our whole family which we normally spend anywhere from 60-100 dollars each time we go and he had the nerve to tell me I need to order online next time for this size order. Well I'm sorry sir my son and I just came from church and we live 40 mins away I'm not ordering online. This man really makes my blood boil and I tried avoiding him and had to deal with his rudeness again anyways. I feel sorry for the poor staff that have to work with him as they can't even try to be friendly to customers because he is over their shoulders and creating this toxic environment. I know I'm not alone in my feelings about this guy, many have said the same. Hopefully you do something about this guy Chris, he's bad for business. Without him you would definitely be a 5...
