Restaurant San Jose Mexican Food — Restaurant in Bryan

Ordered from here on Uber Eats, so I will largely leave out any packaging complaints. I will say the plastic lids the restaurant used to pack the soup broke into shards that filled the soup.

The food is cooked properly, but poorly presented, and utterly devoid of flavor. The best I can say is that the onions and cilantro provided are fresh and plentiful, which at least adds some flavor.

I ordered the Birria, Beef Fajita, and Caldo de Res. And only the soup seemed to have any type of seasoning in it at all, including salt, though again it was full of plastic shards, and therefore unedible.

This was a good restaurant and we will be back to try some more dishes. The Birria tacos were great and my husband liked the Chili Rellenos. He said the rice was flavorful. The salsa they bring with the chips is spicy. We didn’t like the cheese sauce they brought. They also brought out two bottles of salsa, a red and green and these were spicy too. My Husband enjoys spicy food and he liked all the salsas. The flour tortillas are delicious. The service could’ve been more attentive. The kitchen is open to the restaurant. My Experience in this place I used to come here before and they’ve been so sarcastic. They’ve been so rude when I used to came before they throw me the tortilla basket and sometimes they says let them get up so he can get his tortillas from the desk that man says that And the lady was very so rude to the people.
