Firehouse Subs Watson Marketplace — Restaurant in Buckeye

I arrived 240pm Thursday Feb 9th 2024...to pick up my app sandwich and dined in. What a disgrace. Never had an issue here on Waston in Buckeye. But to my surprise my sub sandwich contained 2 thin slices of ham and 2 thin of salami n cheese. And rest of veggies n sauce for a Italian sub. I don't know what just change but this is unacceptable. If FIREHOUSE SUB company at this location thinks consumers won't notice the cut back you guys are truly mistaken. Those pics you guys advertise should be taken down at this location pics are not the same that is called false advertising and a lawsuit!!!...Just be aware. When I approached blonde gal with my concern she explained things are weighing differently due to an error before on scales and error on slicing meats. News flash I'm an ex deli experienced person of 15yrs. And the load of poop she told me is what it is. Interesting that scales in Scottsdale and Camelback in Avondale are working fine. But not on Waston. Beware folks on on meats at this location. Not worth my effort to come back here. Very sad they will do this here. Here I show a pic of before cut back. My wife and I were deciding where to eat while we were in Buckeye and Firehouse was where we were deciding to go as we have never tried their subs but decided to go to Denny's across the parking lot, bad decision.. In the 20mins we were in there 5 parties of 2 or more people walked out including us. Take note, do not go to Denny's on Watson Rd..😡 Ok,,, back to Firehouse, I gave them 5 Stars because there were not 6, we LOVED IT... The gentlemen I spoke to ( Gabe ) was so helpful.. He asked if we had been to Firehouse before and I told him it was the first time and he explained everything to us and was very helpful.. We decided on the Smokehouse Brisket Sub with the 5-Cheese Mc & Cheese and some chips.. The young lady behind the counter that prepared the meals was also very friendly and helpful.. The prices are a little higher than your regular Sub Shops, Subway, Blimpy's etc, but better Subs. I will recommend this establishment to anyone who has never been there.. Ordered online an hour and a half before the promised pickup time and it was still 35 minutes late. In that time, I was able to watch about 8 people get their orders as I watched my online order get totally neglected. The workers even said they had gotten my order 2 hours earlier, but for whatever reason, they chose to prioritize orders that had been taken much later. When asked why they were fulfilling orders that were placed well after mine, all I got was "we are sorry." If you are unfortunate enough to get the crew that was working on November 30, 2023, in the evening, you better just chose a different place. I watched people walk out and choose not to place orders due to the wait after hearing the standard "we will be working on your order very soon". If I was the franchisee, I would be very aware of the incompetency of this crew. Just go to Jimmy John's or Jersey Mikes. Even Subway can't top that level of...
