I chose to make an appointment with Buckeye Dermatology after they were recommended to me by another family member. Upon arrival, I was given a health questionnaire to fill out, as I'd forgotten to do it from home. They have a small waiting room, although it is comfortable, clean, and a relatively nice space. I did not have to wait long, which was nice. The front staff was very friendly and helpful. I was called back within ten minutes, which is great! Their nurse asked me some basic questions, such as why I had made the appointment. Within five minutes, a lovely upbeat physician assistant (PA) entered the room, Rebecca Caudle. She stated, that she had been in Dermatology for over 30 or 35+ years. After quickly reviewing my chart, she began to check out my hair and scalp. I was worried that the experience would be awkward for us both, although my worries were unfounded. The invasive nature of this was why I'd waited almost two years before having my "assumed folliculitis" looked at by a professional. She had such a fabulous bedside manner, that this was done quickly, and not as uncomfortable as I'd anticipated. She reassured me, and let me know that I had a very healthy scalp. I was possibly experiencing a lot of stress, and we discussed that briefly. She gave some recommendations, and I was thrilled to not need any medication or antibiotics. I was told to return if my scalp worsened, otherwise, I could see her in one year for a skin check. Rebecca Caudle was fabulous! She clarified my," assumed folliculitis" and reassured me. She was professional, yet warm. She has a great personality, and it was a good visit! I cannot recall the last doctor's visit that was so quick, painless, and pleasant! Papu Narayanappa, PA this review is specifically for you! My daughter & I came together for an appointment, her for acne, me for Botox. From beginning to end you were rude & condescending to not only my daughter & me but to your MA as well. You embarrassed her in front of us. You need to change your attitude & the way you deal with people. It may be part of your culture & the way you were raised but as I see in another review I am not the only one who’s had a problem with you. When you left the room my daughter said the same thing so I knew it wasn’t just me. She told me she doesn’t want to come back to see you & I told her that won’t be a problem because we won’t be coming back. I work in the medical field & have had a doctor treat me rudely in front of patients & I didn’t appreciate it. I would be surprised if you maintain clientele & staff. I had my first visit to a Dermatologist ever a few months ago and he was very detailed and knowledgeable. I felt like my needs were addressed by both Matthew Lamca and his assistant Christina! I left the office feeling very confident with all the information given and received. Matt took all my concerns at heart and I had a couple biopsies. I feel like I am in great hands with my dermatology needs and moving in the right direction to find out what’s all going on with my skin care and health. I wish I came here sooner.
