Peter Piper Pizza — Restaurant in Buckeye

I'm going to start by saying I am a true PPP fan & have been since I was a baby. I have been to SEVERAL PPP locations here in Arizona. The best location to eat at IMO is the one on bell in surprise. The location in buckeye needs some serious help w their crust. It's definitely not the same as the one in surprise. It makes the entire pizza taste diffrent. We usually order 3 diffrent pizzas when we go. The pepperoni pan pizza , the werx pizza , and a ham & pineapple w jalapenos. When we ordered them at the buckeye location we were disappointed since we expecting the same quality. The staff in that location seems rather young . When we asked about the difference in the crust and how it was not what we expected they all looked at each other and didn't say anything. Maybe it's the type of oven they use? Idk but something needs to be done. They have a standard to with hold and that is not it. The location on McClintock in tempe was also another great location. Their pizzas were light and airy w a great crust. The 91st and Peoria location was also a close comparison to the surprise location. Those locations have been there for years so that may have something to do with it because the oven is "seasoned". I am not sure but I would just like to have Great Peter Piper Pizza when I go to the local one 5 minutes from home instead of having to travel 45 minutes to the next closest one in Surprise,AZ. We decided to do our sons birthday here, being that it is so hot outside right now. After trying to call to set up reservations and them telling us it had to be done online and hanging up. My wife logged in online and set it up for the epic with 9 children and 9 adults with a rough estimate of 350 and a 30 dollar deposit. If you dont know what the epic is its supposed to be their best package.So we arrived about 15 minutes before the time of the birthday party, and they had nothing set up. This was after contacting them about a half hour prior to this confirming that we had a party and if we bought a cake and ice cream if they would store it for us. So we approached the counter where there were 5 associates just standing off to the side playing around. They did not come up to take our order or see what we needed for about 10 minutes. Then finally they came up and had no clue of the birthday party. So then we had to wait for a manager to come and say oh we will set it up real quick. There set up consisted of 3 ballons and a table cloth for one table for 18 people. So, needless to say, I had a very sad 5 year old who had been to other birthday party's there before and knew what they were like. So I will never be going there for another birthday party paying over 300 dollars for something like this. I will definitely be going to Chuckie Cheeses next time. I would never recommend doing a birthday party...

An unexpected, delightful experience.

It has been a while since I have been to your establishment because my kids are grown. I recently brought my niece and nephews to enjoy some Summer fun and it was better than I remember!

The overall ambiance and atmosphere were casual, family friendly, and very welcoming.

The food was on point and cooked to perfection. A little on the pricey end but I was able to take advantage of the Summer Pass! What a deal! (Impressive)

The new addition (jumping area) was great and kept the smaller kids occupied while allowing the older ones to play games, which was nice.

Staff - WOW! My first impression was Josi. So friendly and happy! She seemed very authentic. She is a natural because it takes a special someone to handle all of those kiddos. She got down to their level and knew just how to work with them. They walked away saying how awesome she was. Next shout out goes to your manager Desiree! It is not every day that a manager stops and talks with you just to make sure you are having the best experience possible. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, location, and everything to with Peter Piper Pizza. She offered recommendations on meals, parties, and did so without being overbearing. I felt very comfortable.

The service was speedy, and it was pretty busy at the time.
