I wanted to like this place more but my visit just fell short of my expectations. Service was alright in the sense that the servers were really nice and welcoming. I just felt like maybe there weren't enough people on the floor since taking our orders, receiving food, getting a refill on water, and the bill all came out rather slowly. I almost wondered if our coupon usage put us low on customer prioritization. Our server was nice though and told us what was included for a birthday visit; he was cordial and friendly throughout our experience. The fastest thing that came out was the sweet molasses bread which was good! I asked for another but they might have forgotten. Entree portions were just about right though and the side salad was very generous. Flavor was alright but I ordered the right things for me: top sirloin, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Steak was cooked perfectly medium rare but it seems like the quality of the beef wasn't the highest so it was still tough to cut through. I sampled the steak soup and rice pilaf and found those to be somewhat salty. I wasn't devastated by my choice and enjoyed my meal as much as I could have. I would say price point doesn't quite match the experience but if you come with a coupon, choose certain good sides, and want to focus on socializing, you could very well enjoy yourself. Definitely come for your birthday as they have really good deals to make you feel special. Solid 3.5 stars for me.

Looking forward to a usually great meal at Black Angus left us utterly disappointed. The meal began with a spinach artichoke dip appetizer that came complete with a very long, wavy, blonde hair nested among the chips. The server was mortified and produced a fresh, hair-free replacement. Other missteps took place, such as bringing fries instead of mashed potatoes and forgetting to bring an entire kid's meal, however it didn't end there. The anticipated thick, juicy rib eye was more the equivalent of a sad thin piece of meat one would expect to see served up with a steak 'n egg breakfast plate in a greasy spoon. At a whopping half-inch thick it is not difficult to imagine how they had difficulties cooking it to the requested medium-rare. Even more off-putting was the gray color. To obtain such a dismal hue is most assuredly attributed to freezing and defrosting. Pointing out the obvious shortcomings of the meal, the server focused only upon the well-cooked aspect of the sad little piece of meat and returned for a second try with its twin; another thin, gray offering but instead cooked medium rare on one end and extremely rare on the other. At this point we cut our losses and resolved that this would be our last experience with Black Angus. To their credit, they rightly adjusted the bill, however to plate and actually present such an obviously abysmal looking meal speaks volumes about the declining quality of their food.

Went there on May 1st after a long day at California adventure. We found a coupon on black angus website for $49 for the camp fire feast. There were 3 couples that all ordered the camp fire feast and told our waitress we had the coupon. 3 of the prime rib meals were unedable. It was if they microwaved it. No flavor, dry and tuff. 2 other tables were complaining about the same thing. Waitress brought our bill and then told us the coupon expired and would not honor it even though it was on there website. So we call customer relations the next day to let them know our experience. General manager Jason called and didn't seem like he believe our side when we explained everything the only thing he did say that it was a glitch in there system and they should have honored the coupon so he was going to send us something in the mail. Well we got 2 $15 dollar gift cards. Wow that doesn't even come close to the 3 meals that were not eaten and the headache of dealing with there on duty manager at the time plus our bill was over $300 for all 3 couples. My advice don't go to this black angus

So I've been to Black Angus quite a few times in my life my last experience was a Black Angus in fountain valley if you look through my feedback you'll notice that it was not very good! so beginning of a new year I decided to go to one near my home I live in Anaheim so the one in Buena Park was the one I was going to. I've been here many times in the past as long as it's been here it's always been pretty good and the only reason why I decided to go to Black Angus was I figured to give another shot at a different location so this place wasn't too bad it was very slow and the wall decoratives were very dusty I guess they're going for that feel of the old ghost town at Knott's Berry Farm so we got a table pretty quick. Then our waiter took a long while to get to our table so we sat for at least 10 minutes maybe more before we showed up I think! he wasn't a bad waiter he was a young kid so kids will be kids well we ordered the special deal for two our sampler was potato skins and of course I got the prime rib! the Bread came out kind of crispy kind of hard on the outside wasn't that good scale of 1 to 10 it was probably a six and with the potato skin showed up they were kind of burnt crispy! Like normally I like potato skins but these weren't that great either I was feeling like the people they hire for Black Angus aren't as good as they used to be luckily my food came and the prime rib was good at least and I wasn't able to eat my baked potato that was fully loaded so I took it home it didn't look like the other potato skins i felt service was quite slow so I felt there would be no reason why it took so long to come by or even around the table every once in awhile felt like he was gone but he wasn't a bad waiter but like I said he was young kid anyways that is my evening at this Black Angus I think I'm going to stop eating at blank Angus for a while maybe come back another 5 to 3 years see if it changes I'll stick with the other steakhouses for now like the outback which is right down the street and I had no issues with them so far I've always had a good service anyways thanks again Black Angus you never let me downno matter what location I go to you're...

I had the pleasure of dining at Black Angus Steakhouse in Anaheim, California, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! Arriving an hour and a half before closing time, I was thrilled to find a Black Angus, a once-favorite restaurant from my home state that's become a rare gem over the past decade. The restaurant’s ample parking made it easy to locate, and I was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable air-conditioned atmosphere upon entering.

The interior decor and seating booths instantly made me feel at home. The restaurant was immaculate, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. The gentleman who greeted us at the door and seated us was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations.

Our server, Kassie, was an absolute delight. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she handled all our questions with ease and a warm smile. We started with appetizers, and the deep-fried zucchini was out of this world! Every dish that came out of the kitchen that night was perfectly executed. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, and the portions were generous and satisfying. The food was hot, fresh, and exactly what we hoped for.

The entire dining experience exceeded our expectations. It’s not often we go out to eat and find both the service and food so exceptional, and this visit was no exception. Kassie made us feel like royalty, and her attentiveness was outstanding.

To the manager of this Black Angus location: Bravo! Your team deserves a round of applause. A special thank you to all the staff who made our evening so enjoyable. Although I didn’t take pictures of the food (a regret since it was beautifully prepared), the quality of the meal and the service left such a strong impression that photos seemed unnecessary.

I promised Kassie I’d share my thoughts on our visit, and I’m delighted to do so. She, along with the rest of the team, truly went above and beyond. I hope this review reaches the attention of the lead at this location and that each employee scheduled that evening is recognized for their excellent work. We left with full, happy tummies and a memorable dining experience. Thank you, Black...

We drove from Inland Empire to this particular restaurant since we’ve been here multiple times before we moved. We called in to make reservations party of 8 we were seated at 7:15pm placed our drinks, appetizers and Meals together since we were ready by the time the server came to get our drink order. Drinks were brought appetizers arrived, missing two cocktails. The server left didn’t come back until 30 minutes later by this time I was up ready to walk to find someone he approached me and said I’m just coming from the kitchen because your order was placed 45minutes ago and it’s not ready. I asked to speak to his manager at this point we had been sitting for over 1:15minutes my mother had already pointed out that other tables that were seated after us had gotten their food before us. The manager arrived and apologized and said that they were working on our food her excuse was that it depended on what we ordered and some food takes longer to cook than other I did mention to her that we did see how all the tables had gotten served and we were skipped, she mentioned that the server had forgotten to put our order in… but they were bringing it out shortly. When they brought our food they brought partial plates out everything being served at different times my daughters were the last two to have their plates brought at this point my food is cold , they also forgot to put my husband’s order in so he went and told them to remove his meal since it wasn’t ordered. I also told the server to remove the two cocktails that were not brought. We were the last customers to leave this restaurant with horrible service. I had to get up and ask another person for steak sauce and ketchup. My husbands food got brought out but he didn’t eat it he was upset since we invited the family we didn’t walk out even though he wanted to. The server blamed the cooks and the manager said the server didn’t put our orders in I don’t know what truly happened but I will not return to this location we left very disappointed. Never had this kind of...
