My wife has had Colombian food once or twice in NYC and randomly got a craving for it recently. She searched and found this place although 20 minutes away from where we live it was worth the trip. The older lady working the front counter reminded me of my own mother/grandmother very kind and eager to feed any hungry people that stop by. I purchased two lunch specials ($8.99 each) and some empanadas. The food was plentiful and flavorful. I recommend their green salsa to go with the empanadas, it's about medium spicy but really brings the flavor together. They take credit cards using a Square payment POS and the food didn't take long to prepare. There's limited seating that can feel a little cramped especially with more than 2 people so to-go is probably your best bet. Of the two lunch specials I purchased one steak and one chicken figuring my wife would prefer one or the other. The chicken is cut into smaller strips but marinated nicely and full of flavor. The steak is a flattened skirt steak typical of Colombian places I've had in NYC, a little small but for price still reasonable. I look forward to...
Read moreI’m visiting from New York City and enjoying my time at Niagara Falls. As a passionate food lover with experience cooking a variety of cuisines—including authentic Colombian food—I took the time to read through Google reviews before choosing this restaurant.
I’m glad I did, because I’m giving this place a solid 5 stars for its outstanding Colombian food. I had the pleasure of meeting the new owner, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. They went out of their way to accommodate my children, which made the experience even better.
The food? Absolutely phenomenal. In fact, it’s probably the best Colombian food I’ve had—and that says a lot, considering I live in NYC, home to one of the largest Colombian communities in the country. I’ve eaten at many excellent restaurants in areas like Jackson Heights, Queens, so the bar is high.
I leave this place truly satisfied and impressed. Highly...
Read moreSomebody told me they had the best Cuban sandwich. But they don't know how to make a Cuban sand they said to me we can't make it your way. I just wanted the pork to ham the Swiss cheese. The pickle and the mustard simple simple Cuban sandwich but tasteful. So he says no, we. We make our own way of. Sandwiches, in other words, that says do, if you go to a steakhouse and you're not from me, you're safe and the guy says no, we only make them well, you suck. I also told him the United States of America, you can ask for something what you're paying for if what you're paying for is not what you get. You don't have to take it well. I took it when I got home. I opened up tons of lettuce tomatoes. Mayo everything that goes on an American sandwich. Not on a Cuban, I would not go here. I would not touch the door with a 10 foot Pole. Very, not nice people. I have more colombian peoples than...
