Artisan Bakery is such a cute, modern and delicious bakery in a busy strip mall in Burbank. The outside entry is very ornate with a Great Gatsby style vibe with gold arches. Inside the space has wall decals depicting Paris in a modern style. The display case is beautiful and clean. I really enjoyed the customer service and the staff member gave me great suggestions for what to pick. They also let me use my own to go container and heated up the pies so they were in the best condition for eating!
I love that they have savory options for their pies, so you can enjoy it alongside a sweet for breakfast. For the pies, I got 2: 1. Potato, which was creamy and well seasoned, but could also have benefited from having something with texture to break up the monotony, such as bell pepper, peas, raisins, olives, etc. 2. Cabbage, which was INCREDIBLE and reminded me of the filling of spring rolls without being overly oily. As for sweet, the almond croissant was visually striking, but more importantly the almond paste inside was not overly sweet, so it balanced well with the dusting of powdered sugar. It reminded me of an elegant bear claw. There were so many croissant option in general and it's obvious why, because the croissant is really well made with lots of flaky layers.

Read moreCrust Artisan Bakery is an absolute gem! It has a warm an inviting atmosphere and the mouthwatering aroma of freshly baked goods. The space is spotless and well-kept, making it a truly pleasant place to sit and enjoy a treat or two.
The food is phenomenal--everything is clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients. Their pastries are out of this world--flaky, buttery, and perfectly balanced in flavor. Whether you're grabbing a croissant, a tart, or one of their seasonal specials, you really can't go wrong. Also, must try their sandwiches and paninis! I got Mortadella sandwich and my wife got Prosciutto panini and both were delicious!
Highly recommend Crust Artisan Bakery if you love great food, friendly service, and a clean, cozy spot to relax. It's easily one of the best bakeries around!
A big shoutout to David, who made the experience even better. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about...
Read moreUpdate: They used to have a lunch discount of I beleive 15%? A chocolate chip cookie was $2.12 but they got rid of it so now one cookie ends up being $3.89 after taxes. The girl behind the desk is pleasant but the other older white guy who is there sometimes seems like he wants to be anywhere else. I still say it’s a great bakery and definitely worth going to if you haven’t yet but I can’t give it 5 stars with the price increase and the fact you might have to deal with a miserable person if the girl isn’t behind the desk.
I just ordered two loaves of bread and a cookie from this place. The cookie was definitely large for the price and tasted really good. Both of the loaves of bread were also good and the price is cheaper than other bakeries I’ve seen. The girl behind the desk is extremely kind. Definitely a big fan of this place and...
