Starbucks is a hit and miss most of the time, but being a local really gives me the opportunity to get to know the establishment. The employees at this Starbucks are alright. There are some that knows the importance of customer service, and most, unfortunately don't. This is a place where there are employees who would make eye contact, and just because they are not in the till, they would completely disregard your existence, saying Hi or Hello, doesn't cost a thing, it's what humans do, we greet each other. It's a busy place, but an employee that makes eye contact for a second should say hi, or say we'll be with you in a bit, specially when there is only one person in line. There are days when I had to pretend to look at my phone, which has lasted about 3 minutes just because everyone is pretending to be sooo busy, as they pass me by behind the counter, make eye contact and hopefully waits for someone to serve me, as they ignore the customer. Being on the phone, It really relieves the awkwardness, the akwardness of , or he/she is going to start a conversation by saying 'can I have your order' or 'hello' , but no...they don't...so I stay on the phone until somebody gives up and actually takes my order, or if someoneelse is behind me, what an ordeal. Anyways, the bathroom is very clean , so is the whole establishment, they are actually quite efficient and fast once they have taken the order. Just a little bit more emphasis on customers. You know what it feels like when you are there. It's like a moment when you think someone is saying Hi to you but it's actually the person behind you that they are saying Hi to, that's the akward feeling I feel whenever I am at the till...
Read moreBeing a regular customer, when I first started coming here the wait on line was long. But I deal with customer service myself so i know no matter how many people are working behind the counter doesn't mean everyone is in charged taking orders at the cashier, so i had patience and just went with the flow, but overtime i did notice many times that people were waiting way too long it even got to the point were i was timing the service. Mind you i never thought of complaining that's just the way goes sometimes. Some customers need to remember Starbucks employees are human too, they work hard, they have feelings and dealing with the public is not easy at times so they deal with negativity from customers simply because they expect the Starbucks employee sniff up their butt with a happy smile, so complaints are wrtten of the employee being rude, well here's a newsflash customers are rude as well. So as customers maybe if we reconized their effort of doing a good job of getting your favorite drink let's just thank them and let them know that their doing a good job, it doesn't hurt people i do it all the time appreciation can go a long ways in people's heart. By the way I've notice they improved in customer service so it's save to come this certain Starbucks. Good luck and be...
Read moreI was here last week at around 4:45am (they open at 4:30am; see attached photo with posted hours) after charging my car at the Supercharger station. The door was locked but the staff let me in and apologized profusely and allowed me to order.
At around the same time this morning (11/19/2024) after charging my car at the Supercharger station, I tried to enter and found the door locked. Both male associates gave me dirty looks. Finally, one of them opens the door and curtly ‘informs’ me that their lobby doesn’t open until 5am (see attached posted hours; not true). I kindly point out the posted hours yet the male staffer (short, skinny with earrings, mustache and a very HUGE Napoleonic complex) again curtly reiterated that those posted hours are ‘inaccurate.’ He slams the door in my face.
The new CEO stated that he wants to bring back the quality customer service experience that Starbucks used to be known for, yet what transpired a few moments ago shows me that the new CEO has a lot of work to do to clean house of these self important, self entitled, lazy and rude employees. He better do so ASAP, otherwise loyal customers will seek their coffee elsewhere at Starbucks competitors (ie Coffee Bean, Peet’s...
