One of my favorite diners in the valley, which is saying something because there are a lot of great ones up there. I drove all the way up from West LA specifically for this place because it really is that good. Also parking is much easier in the valley however this place has a very small free parking lot. It was full when we arrived so we had to park on the street, but it was free parking. My favorite part about it is the retro charm and the food taste. We ate at the counter because it is my favorite seat in the house, I love watching the kitchen operate and just being in the center and inside. They also have a few booths inside but the majority of the seating is outside, but covered. Our server was very polite and attentive and we only had to wait about 10 mins to be seated for a 10:30 Sunday brunch. The food here is seriously delicious. It has all the classic diner options but done with premium ingredients. The menu is quite large, so it took me quite a bit to choose what I wanted to order. For myself, I chose the Eggs Benedict with steak and thought it was fantastic. Eggs Benedict is probably my favorite breakfast dish and so having it with quality steak really made it for me. We also ordered the Fruity Pebbles Waffle and it was deliciously sweet and a great treat. We also split a couple of biscuits with jam and butter and I can say they are homemade and fluffy and definitely worth ordering. Overall a fantastic diner and I would recommend to anyone looking for a great breakfast or lunch option.

I ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich for $16.95. When the bill was presented to me, the total was $20.90, which is a couple of dollars higher than what it should be with tax. There was an extra $2 charge. When I asked the server what the extra $2 charge was for, she said it was because the country style potatoes are not included with the sandwich. I no longer had the menu because I turned it in when I ordered and gave her the benefit of the doubt, but I felt like she was not correct. I paid the bill and tipped 20% anyways which came out to over $25. I decided to look up the menu just to confirm and it is clear as day that she lied and charged me an extra $2 for nothing because the menu clearly states that the country style potatoes are included with the Monte Cristo sandwich. The food was decent, but I can’t recommend going to a place where they are going to sneakily charge you an extra $2 for nothing. Responding to your response: Look at the picture attached of your menu description for The Monte Cristo and tell me where it indicates there is an extra $2 dollar charge for country style potatoes. It literally says verbatim "served with choice of home fries, country style potatoes, french fries, or fresh fruit." Saying it's "served with" indicates that it comes with these things, it does not say there is an extra $2 charge for them. When you change the menu to say "it is an extra $2 to add home fries, country style potatoes, french fries, or fresh fruit" then I will change the review.

I’ve been craving for pancakes and French toast for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I think it’s probably one of the best meals of the day to not miss. So here I am writing a good review on my experience at this local diner located in Burbank. They have a variety of options for all types of breakfast people. I ordered their breakfast tacos which is basically scrambled eggs with bacon and cheddar cheese on corn tortilla (total of 3 tacos). I also ordered their specialty pancakes of Cinnamon Toast Crunch (single) and an order of French Toast with Strawberries and Bananas. Their breakfast tacos are reasonably priced and good quantity for anyone who wants a lighter option. As for their pancakes I couldn’t have been any happier because Cinnamon Toast Crunch is one of my favorite cereals. It made me feel like a kid all over again. Overall, I think their French toast is probably the most popular off their menu because nothing ever beats a sweet and syrupy toast covered in powdered sugar. Plus, the staff was very welcoming, accommodating, and fast paced when taking our orders and serving us. Thank you for the ultimate experience. I’m planning on taking my parents to this diner again because they really loved the food and atmosphere :)

Don't expect artisan food here. This is short order cook fare like Denny's with the atmosphere to match, but there are darker colors than Denny's. Not everything you order on the menu is the best. It is best for pancakes, omelets, sausage, etc, ya know, all the stuff you shouldn't be eating if you want to stay healthy. The food taste is mediocre, the food quality is low. But that is what tasteless Americans are used to.

Most shocking thing is when their closing time ...1:45pm

The Cobb salad I ordered was ok, but the bleu cheese was too sharp, and the food was served flush with the edge of the plate, making it difficult to keep from falling on the counter. The waiter did not automatically refill my coffee. But that is not a big deal. You want service? You gotta speak up.

Outdoor seating is much more pleasant than indoors which seems cramped and many customers insist on the outdoor seating.

Parking is cramped, but adequate.

Sanitation is questionable. I saw waiters grabbing plastic cups with their bare hands and dipping them into the ice machine. Waitress sticks her fingers all inside the creamer cups to fill them with coffee cream:/. Sitting at the quick dining single occupancy counter, I saw inside the kitchen there was a huge wet mess on the floor with a bunched up towel on it. It looked like a huge amount of spilled eggs ;/ Yuck. No one was cleaning it up or even cared. This is why at some restaurants they do their best to hide all food preparation activity from the customers.

Looks like it is Armenian owned or something like that and most of the employees reflect that look. Beefy Middle...
