Let me begin with the hand cut fries. As soon as I opened the container, I was hit with the mouth-watering aroma of freshly cooked potatoes. The fries were beautifully golden and perfectly crispy on the outside, yet soft and fluffy on the inside. I could tell that they were hand-cut as each fry was slightly different in size and shape, which only added to their charm. They were also seasoned perfectly, with just the right amount of salt to enhance the natural flavors of the potatoes. I could have easily eaten the entire container on my own, but I had to save room for the smash cheeseburger.
Speaking of which, the smash cheeseburger was one of the most delicious burgers I've ever tasted. The patty was cooked to perfection - juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. It had a lovely char on the outside, which added a smoky depth to the taste. The bun was soft and pillowy, providing the perfect vessel for the juicy patty. And the cheese - oh, the cheese! It was melted to gooey perfection, stretching in strings as I took each bite. The toppings were also fantastic, with a generous dollop of tangy ketchup and mustard, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomato. Each bite was an explosion of flavors in my mouth.
But what really set this cheeseburger apart from others I've had was the technique used to create it - the "smash" technique. This involves taking a ball of ground beef and smashing it down onto a hot griddle, creating a thin, crispy patty with plenty of surface area for browning and flavor development. This technique is not commonly used in most burger joints, but it is definitely worth seeking out for its unique texture and flavor.
Overall, I cannot recommend these hand cut fries and smash cheeseburger enough. They were both exceptional in their own right and together, they made for a truly unforgettable meal. If you have the chance to try them, I highly encourage you to do so - you won't be...
Read moreI ordered two double smash burgers for delivery from door dash and really enjoyed them. Since I did not visit the physical location, such details wonât be included in this review.
The burgers were a standard size for a smash burger, which tends to be slightly smaller than a traditional burger. I thought the bun/patty/pickle/onion/sauce ratios were solid and worked together to create a well balanced tasting burger. The doubles were quite filling even for someone who can eat large quantities of food like myself. I went with the doubles but there were also single and triple options available but for smash burgers Iâve noticed that a double works best.
There are so many smash burger spots popping up everywhere these days, some are better than others but this spot is very clearly in the middle. Youâre not getting something wildly mind blowing or something inedible, youâre getting a safe smash burger that tastes good and wonât send you to bankruptcy court.
I really liked this spot and will absolutely be ordering from here...
Read moreI saw an ad with the single smash burger in it and it looked so good I had to go and try it. The ad showed a luscious burger with meat and cheese hanging out. I wanted that. I got there with a friend and since the burger was so large looking, I didn't feel that I needed French fries. Well we ordered the single smash burger and it looked nothing like the ad photo. It was a one hand size, nothing hanging out like the photo and I was disappointed. The burger, all of about 4 bites was very delicious but we had nothing else. My friend went back up and ordered another burger and fries. He ate the burger and we shared the fries. The fries were some of the best fries I've ever had. I'd definitely go back but I'd get the double or triple burger and fries. Here are the photos. I did show the ad photo to the staff and they said they didn't know why that ad...
