I like to try out every donut shop I can, at least once. After dropping someone off at the airport, I figured this would be a good stop.

There was still a good variety/selection left in the 7 o'clock hour on a weekend. At first glance, looked promising. Then my eyes were locked onto all the individually hand wrapped muffins in plastic wrap. Anyone who's been to Costco KNOWS the vanilla chocolate chunk muffin. Very distinct look and chocolate drizzle on top. Then I noticed they had those, pumpkin strusel and double chocolate muffins. 3 of the 4 Costco currently has. They all get regular rotation in my house, I know them well. So their business card advertises muffins, but yet they go to Costco and buy the muffins, wrap them in plastic wrap and sell those? Then I noticed the cheese danishes and croissants right next to the muffins. Also, Costco bakery items.

As for the donuts. The quality is about on par with a grocery store bakery. And what do most grocery stores do? They get the donuts shipped to them frozen, then in the morning just pop them in the oven to warm up and then glaze/frost them.

So after seeing multiple different items in their case they just buy from Costco and sell as their own, I wouldnt be surprised if they go the grocery store route and just warm up and top.

I cant speak on the drinks, as I didnt purchase any. But if those are decent, and you just want a donut or two, might be worth the stop to you. They do have more variety than a grocery...

my fiance and i come here every two weeks. we would come more, but we have to put a limitation on ourselves because we will literally go every day. these are the best donuts I have ever eaten. the maple bar is certified by both myself and my mom who are a maple bar aficionados to be the best maple bar we have ever had. they are the absolute best in the morning, even by evening they can be a little less good. day 2 is still and a dang good donut but they really shine fresh out of the case. i can’t say enough good things about them. the service is fantastic. the donuts are even better. we are moving soon and i can comfortably say the worst and hardest part about moving back to the east coast is leaving behind these donuts. we always get at least 3 glazed donuts and donut holes (i want to gatekeep the donut holes so bad bc they sell out but theyre so good and never make it out of the parking lot), maple bar, old fashioneds, glazed twists, sugar donuts, and chocolate bars. i ❤️ lucky donuts please just set up a single franchise in...

I woke up early in the morning and went to a donut shop around 5:45 am.. If you want to eat fresh donuts, I recommend going to the donuts shop early in the morning. This time I chose a Lucky Donut Shop in Burien and first visit. I ordered two of bacon maple bars, apple fritter, strawberry french curler, bear claw and french curler. And I also bought two bacon maple bars for my friend. I was excited to eat it. And when I picked up my favorite bacon maple bar......it was cold. I was very disappointed. The donuts should fresh and warm when opening the store. But the donuts were cold. I came here first thing in the morning and ordered 6 donuts for me and 2 bacon maple bars for my friend. I ate Bacon maple bar, apple fritter and french curler. It was no different from a normal grocery store donut. The reason I go to a donut shop early in the morning, i can get a freshly made soft and warm donuts.

I have seen the light, and it is deep-fried. Nestled in Burien’s downtown, this unassuming donut sanctuary has been serving up sugary enlightenment for over two decades. The counter guy—friendly and efficient, like he’s got a sixth sense for sugar-deprived souls—hands over a box that should probably come with a warning label. It took me 3 years to match schedules but I finally got in! First up: a mochi nut donut, so chewy and perfect it makes me question every basic cake donut I’ve ever tolerated. Then, a bear claw the size of a toddler’s face, its buttery layers whispering sweet nothings to my arteries. Finally, an absurdly flaky, cinnamon-covered creation that crumbled like my willpower. The coffee? Hot. The vibes? Chill. The regret? Nonexistent.
