Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Burleson

Very disappointed in my experience yesterday at this location. We haven’t even had schlotzkys in years but my mom and I decided to give it a try. I ordered a pizza and she ordered a sandwich combo. After mom pays at the drive through window she sees a sign past the window that said Wednesday b1g1 free pizza! She asked politely about the free pizza. The guy at the window says “oh yeah you get that if you order it at the window” and then refused to honor the discount because it would “hold up the line and the transaction was already done”. Not only did we miss out on this deal but the car behind us did as well. I’m sorry that’s not how it should work. If it’s b1g1 free pizza day, here are some ways to keep customers happy. at the drive theough “welcome to schlotzkys it’s b1g1 pizza today would you like to start with 2 pizzas today?” at the window “oh yes I’m so sorry I forgot it’s Wednesday if you want to come inside I can get that second pizza working for you” promotions are there to keep customers coming back and make them feel like they’re being taken care of. Especially when it’s $40 for a sandwich and a personal pizza at a drive through! If the second pizza was free why would it matter if the transaction had already gone through? Couldn’t a manager comp it for the promo? Also why is the only sign promoting the deal AFTER the drive through when you only see it when you EXIT? Very disappointed in this experience I probably won’t be back anytime soon to any schlotzkys. I come from management and food industry and I expected more from a higher end...

I deliver food for doordash and grubhub. Many restaurants are rude to delivery drivers and put them on the bottom of their to do list. Some places I wait 20-30 minutes with staff rude because I'm a delivery driver. I just want to say Schlotzsky's in Burleson is a class act! They really have it together no matter if I come in as a driver or a customer. Either way, I'm treated respectfully and food is done quickly. All staff are kind and work hard. They have a special station for delivery drivers, very organized. I know once I get pinged here, to get there right away. Just know if you order food to be delivered from here, they treat your order and the driver like any customer in the restaurant (great) and rush your food out. Really a class act, all other restaurants in the area should take note on how Schlotzsky's runs things. This is probably my favorite place to pick up from. I've never had an issue here. I have ordered from this location three times and every time there is a different issue so the common denominator is this location. Today’s issue was they did not verify the order numbers and a similarly named order was delivered to me after waiting for an hour and a half for Ubereats. They received two orders with the first name as “Elizabeth” and the last names both started with a “P”. Except I spell my name out fully in my Ubereats profile and the other Elizabeth only used her last initial “P”. We then called the store immediately upon receiving the wrong order and the store manager helped my identify what happened, but when my husband told him they should do a better job next time of checking the order number he did not just own it and say “Yes we screwed up and I apologize”. That was more annoying since we had waited an hour and a half already and now had to go get out for food as everything had stopped delivering by 8pm. Never ordering...
