Capri Lasagneria — Restaurant in Burlingame

I took the family here for an early dinner based on some positive buzz I'd heard lately. The concept of a Lasagneria is already novel and enticing. And it lived up to my sky high expectations. The gnocchi appetizer was probably the most unique and surprising dish of the night, crunchy, chewy, and perfect paired with a creamy truffle sauce. We each tried a different lasagna, and we all liked the one we ordered. I had the Italian sausage based on their recommendation, and it was the perfect spiciness without being overly meaty. We just ate here for the second time and I just felt compelled to leave a review because this place is so fantastic! My fiance loves the sausage lasagna but to me, the star of the show is the chicken vodka lasagna. I wish we would've taken pictures but everything looked so delicious that we completely forgot about pictures. The meatballs appetizer is super delicious as well, it's not hard, just comes apart with ease. They also had a pear sachetti special that was to die for! BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU EAT HERE. Always keep your receipt. Food is okay. But service is very bad. Never have I ever eaten at a restaurant that would over charge more than the actual amount in your bill. I signed a different amount on my bill, and they charge my card $40 more for food that we did not even order. Totally not the customer’s fault right? But if I did not double check my receipt and the amount that was charged on my card I would not even know that I paid for something that I did not even get.
