I had a terrible experience here. After waiting five minutes before even seeing an employee, I was serviced by an employee who was taking a personal call on a Bluetooth headset the entire time they were making my order. I normally wouldn't mind, but the employee had to ask my order no less than seven times. It was clear that the customer was not the priority. My order took twice the amount of time it usually does at other Subway restaurants.
Additionally, my friend (full disclosure: he is a picky eater), seeing the last clean knife was being used on my sandwich, asked the employee to make sure a new knife was used. The employee was apparently taken aback by this request and snapped at him, then made sure he was watching while they used that same knife. Not only was this unusual (I believe Subway policy is one knife per sandwich to avoid cross-contamination), this employee went out of their way to ensure my friend has a dissatisfactory experience.
I recommend you avoid this establishment in particular; if the employee is still working at this location, there is a fair chance your sandwich and/or experience will be intentionally or carelessly ruined.
(Note: I still go to other Subway locations. I am a fan of the food and the company; there is simply a "bad...
Read moreWe had bad experiences at this store consistently during last few visits. During the last visit, I went with my kids for lunch, and my 12 years old daughter was ordering a sandwich. The lady who served her was pretty rude. While adding cheese, she asked "what do you want on your sandwich", my daughter only said chicken at that time since the lady was standing in front of meat containers. After adding meat, she started wrapping up the sandwich and heading to billing counter. When my daughter wanted some veggies and dressing, her response was "when I asked what do you want on the sandwich, you need to say what vegies, dressing etc. as well". And she was pretty rude during the interaction. Don't think it's consistent with how other Subway stores make Sandwiches. Usually they keep moving the bread through the aisle and ask if you want cheese, meat, vegies, dressings etc. This store employees are lacking training.
Don't want my kids to deal with such rude people. Never going to this Subway...
Read moreI ordered online. I did NOT choose to have Door Dash deliver my order, this is what Subway uses. Door Dash failed to deliver 3 items I ordered, but Subway says it’s Door Dash’s responsibility to get me the items. Listen, if Subway would have bagged my to go order in ONE bag instead of ONLY bagging my sub, maybe Door Dash would have grabbed my entire order. When I called the location I ordered from, the woman sounded put out because I didn’t get my items. Again, bag the to orders on one bag and this would not have happened. How am I, the customer, to believe these items were all placed together, I’m not AT the location. To me, the customer, Subway seems just be passing the blame to Door Dash. No offer to reimburse my cost, simply told me to take it up with Door Dash.
Unreal! Poor customer service! Stop placing blame and appease your customers! All I wanted was what I ordered. I don’t think I’m asking too much. I’ll starve before I order from the Shelburne Road, South Burlington...
