Harbour Thread, Clothes & Shoes for Women and Men — Local services in Burlington

I’ve been coming to this store all the way from Connecticut. Never had an issue until tonight. This just happened 15 minutes ago today November 3rd, 2018. I kept trying on an overall and until I realized there was something wrong with it, this rude lady wearing a green flannel shirt-dress , said that it was broken and that was the reason it was on sale. On my way out I suggested her to put it on the tag or something because just looking at it you don’t notice is broken, she replied arrogantly and in a sarcastic way that I should assume it’s broken because it’s noticeable. I answered that it’s not and it should be written that I just wasted a lot of time without knowing. She thank me in the most hypocritical way as it was obvious she was desperate for me to leave the store. I have bought many things from this store and you’re losing a customer because you’re hiring a rude, unprofessional person that shouldn’t be at your store. There was another girl that I must say she was the opposite of the other one. She was nice and she was the one to set up the dressing...

I'm much more in the habit of reading reviews than writing them. I was taken aback because there were a few negative reviews about staff or management at Harbour Thread. I try to remember that we never know what is going on in someone else's life that might make them less than pleasant. I was apprehensive when I called the store for help with an order and separate request for my daughter. Lindsey answered the phone and she couldn't possibly have been more pleasant, patient, kind and helpful. I had to take the time to write a review to help offset the negative experiences that some other customers had. Judging from my own experience, it was nothing but positive. I live 5 hours away but I hope someday to meet Lindsey in person and see the beautiful things that Harbour Thread...

A local favorite! This store has an excellent selection of clothes and accessories, I really love their inventory. Their items are a little pricier, but the denim is a good quality and often the prices are the same in store as they would be online. Most importantly, I find their staff to be incredibly kind and helpful. If something doesn't work, they aren't pushy. They do not try to force a sale, they just simply help you find something that you love. If you need a cool, unique piece of clothing...
