My second time ever to coconut Kenny's was just as good as the first. A repeat quality experience means I'll be sure to come here a third time! In the competitive world of pizza, with the titanic contenders such as Mod, papa Murphys, pizza hut, and domino's; coconut Kenny's stands out for its ambiance and its crust. The inside of this place reminds me of that time I went to Hawaii for vacation, and the truth is I've never actually been to Hawaii before. The calming music, the props, murals, and the high booths makes for a calming experience. The food is ordered at the front, but they bring it to your table! Even the waiter looked Hawaiin, I felt like I was in a dream.. You cannot pass over the cheesy bread. A generous heap of melted cheese over soft, sweet Hawaiin rolls is a must get. These things will have you saying "Aloha" in no time. The pizza variety is endless and they even Have big portioned sandwiches! I got the huki huki pizza with bacon, and it was if this pizza was forged with the lava from Mauna Loa herself. Kenny's signature is the melted cheese crust, and this is delicious. The cheese is slightly burnt and it compliments the pizza entirely. Mod still wins in price, and dominos wins in my "cheat day" decision making process (I take way too many of those). But, if I ever find myself in Burlington, which I do a few times a month, and if I'm craving pizza or a Hawaiin getaway, coconut Kenny's is the place to get. 4 stars because the Buffalo Mac and cheese was not good at all. Also a...
Read moreSo delicious! Paka pizza. I think that's how it is spelled.. . Anyway, I joined a high school girlfriend and went to the movies and then Coconut Kenny's. Great company, good movie (Tickets), and pizza. It was so thick it was like a single layer cake! The crust was very crisp and NOT MOD half baked and gooey in the middle. Manager Andrew came over to see how we were doing and I told him about how I found my friend on social media last year. Thirty seven years ago we graduated from high school and now we are friends. It is such a relief to be able to go back to those times and hear about everyone I didn't grow up with and find out who they REALLY ARE! I suffered through eight years of Catholic school in another city, so all the kids I went to h.s. with in Sedro-Woolley were, for the most part, people I didn't know. Hello to Frances Hudson, Teri Peth, Stacey Clements, and Barbara Vickery!! Coconut Kenny's is very good food and much more appetizing than burgers! Everyone should eat there. There is also a location in Marysville, WA up on...
Read moreI’m really disappointed with my recent experience at Coconut Kenny’s. We placed an order around 6 p.m., and it was supposed to be ready by 6:45. I arrived on time, but the order wasn’t ready. The guy behind the counter seemed visibly irritated when I arrived, so I politely offered to wait in my car. He said he’d bring it out, and I agreed.
After waiting for 15 more minutes, I noticed other customers coming and going with their orders, so I finally went back inside to check. The bag was dropped in front of me without a word, I asked, “Is this mine?” The employee just nodded and walked away without another word. I’ve honestly never experienced such rude customer service.
The food used to be great and after this experience, I’m not sure I’ll be coming back. The pizza was the driest I’ve ever had. Not worth the $60.
I get that Saturday nights are busy, but that’s no excuse for poor service. It was especially disappointing since I had tipped,...
