Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Burlington

The employees were nice and the place looked clean, but the food was NASTY. I built my own sandwich and asked for tuna and cheese. I wanted to build my own to not get the veggies, I wanted it plain. I got my sandwich back with lettuce, cucumber, and tomato on it. There was barely any tuna and it wasn’t even on the whole sandwich which was annoying. The tomato’s were soggy and foamy which is disgusting. There was SO MUCH lettuce also that I had to take off. I don’t know why they thought they should put vegetables on the sandwich to begin with. The menu on the “build your own” section didn’t say anything about it already coming with vegetables, so obviously… I was a little confused. If that’s not the worst of it, the tuna had some type of vegetable in it. A BUNCH. And it tasted terrible. If restaurants are going to add things into their tuna, IT SHOULD BE MENTIONED ON THE MENU. What if people are allergic? Baffling. I didn’t even eat a third of the sandwich before I threw it away...

Just got off the phone with the 'manager' (Kaitlyn, not sure on spelling...) of Jimmy Johns Burlington, who argued with me about whether or not our sandwiches have avocado, that we paid for, on them. Only way they could do anything is if I loaded my 4 month old child into my car, and drove half hour each way, to SHOW them that there was no avocado. That wasn't the only thing incorrect, but was the only thing we paid for (paid to add avocado to both sandwiches, neither had it, one sandwich was supposed to have peppers, both had peopers, both sandwiches were to be cut in half, only one was cut in half...) We'll be waiting for the Anacortes location to open I guess. rude excuse for customer service! Ordered a sandwich and while paying for it I realized I ordered the wrong one. There was no price difference, it wasn’t busy, there was literally no one else in the store and they hadn’t even started making my sandwich yet. I asked if I could change my order and the 2 employees just stared at each other for a second then started whispering so I have no idea what they said then the boy that rang me up said are you sure you want that one it’s not that much different then the one you already ordered and proceeded to act like it was the hardest thing in the word to change the order. And no the sandwich that I ordered and the one that I wanted were not similar at all. I just said forget it I’ll just keep what I already ordered. I then waited about 15 minutes for my one sandwich. One star because I can’t go any lower and I do actually like...
