Yea this place was a trip, me and my crew had quite a walk about trying to find the joint, kinda hole in the wall joint your uncle Steve knows about.. anyways, once in, we had to pay cash which was really a burden since me and my boys had just recently switched to apple air pro VR headsets for payment, but they did have a 50s bar/burlesk style atm for consignment, anyway super silly and rad 10 out of 10 pancakes!! :)

Probably the best bar in downtown Burlington. Love the speak easy vibe with the hidden entrance. Staff was super friendly, drinks were awesome (they do heavy pours here), and the staff was very warm and friendly. Everything is $5 - all the drinks, t shirts, etc. the space is brand new and clean and trendy. Overall, it’s the best bar I’ve been to on Church st.

Fun spot with cheap drinks! Be aware that they only take cash, but each drink is just $5 with tax already included. There are a bunch of tables and sitting areas, and it's a great place to go as a group.

I have been to this place many times and can honestly say its a must hit in Burlington atleast once. First off its one of the 2 speakeasy type bars in Burlington and has a more "start my night out" feel then the other. The way to get in is fun and creative, you walk by a bustling bar through an alley and arrive at what appears to be an empty room. I won't spoil the surprise for you but from, there you enter the bar. There is usually a wait but its not too long. Once in, there is a great atmosphere with civil war paintings with googly eyes on them and long tables to sit at. The best part, all drinks are 5 dollars! From cocktails to beers. Be sure to bring cash though, no credit card service. A great plavlce to bring friends and start off a night...

First night there went to the bathroom with my best friend to pee and were greeted coming out by the bouncer who was EXTREMELY rude. He said he “caught us” on all four security cameras going into the bathroom together. We were so confused by why this would be a problem we just said sorry and went back to our table. We felt so uncomfortable when the staff was pointing us out and staring at our table that we had to leave. We decided to return the next night because we enjoyed the bar itself. We almost got kicked out AGAIN by another unbelievably rude staff member. I bet my boyfriend a dollar that I could win Rock Paper Scissors and we were YELLED at for gambling. Again, we felt so uncomfortable we left. Will never...

Probably one of the best bars in the state, if not the best.

Not only is the staff polite and professional, it is an impeccably clean establishment (which is rare in Burlington).

I saw another reviewer say these guys were "rude to people not from Vermont."

This couldn't be further from the truth. I am not from Vermont (neither is my partner) and we have had nothing but great experiences at this bar.

If I remember correctly, none of the staff are from the state to begin with.

Maybe that person feels like they get bad customer service because they are a...
