THIS BAR IS NOT SAFE FOR WOMEN. I REPEAT, THIS BAR IS NOT SAFE FOR WOMEN! My friend was just tackled to the ground by a random guy there. Once I pushed him off of my friend, he then pushed me and got in my face mocking me. I walked away and immediately got security, pointing out the individual who tackled my friend and was told I needed to find another security guard for backup. I found another security guard, told them my friend was just assaulted, and led them to the person who hurt my friend. I asked that security remove him. My friend was hurt and upset. A security supervisor then pulled me aside and said โWell he wants to apologize, he said it wonโt happen again.โ While they pulled me aside, the perpetrator was still dancing with their friends. I told the security supervisor we did not accept his apology, and we wanted him removed or we were pressing charges. The security supervisor then said โWell, your friend is really drunk.โ They tried to blame my friend for being tackled to the ground by this random stranger! I said โThat does not mean that she deserves to be tackled to the ground by a random stranger - we were minding our own business.โ I again reiterated that we would be pressing charges. I asked to speak to the manager on duty and the security supervisor said โItโs me, Iโm the only one.โ After going back and forth for nearly 20 minutes, and my friend getting increasingly upset, the security supervisor said that they would kick out the perp but โyou guys need to go too.โ They made sure to include that they really did not want to get sued, but we were welcome back anytime ? I will NEVER be returning. What kind of night-life establishment doesnโt make sure women on their premises are safe? We left angry, upset, and with possible injury. I WILL NEVER BE RETURNING. THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS NOT...

But the men to women ratio here is crazy. Saturday nights are packed with creepy solo dudes just dead staring at women and harassing them. I had the back of my hair pulled by some random guy I didn't know. A brawl between like 7 guys broke out and "security" was a complete joke about it.
Note to management- stop charging hot college girls and broke, creepy, single dudes the same cover to get in. Honestly, it feels violating in there when you're just trying to chill and have a good time and you're being eye-r**d by like 10 guys standing on the perimeter... let alone the freaks that actually approach you and touch you without ever asking.
Here's an idea - get security that actually cares, stop charging women a cover, and charge men 4x the typical $5 cover.
I do like the division of music though where the blue room is normally electronic and the red area is more hip hop / pop etc.
It is what it is and it's better than nothing in Vermont but management / ownership could do A LOT more to make women...
