Let's Start from the beginning. Me and my fiance walk in 4 workers behind the desk in complete disarray. One of the guys ask us whether we would like to sit in the dining or lounge. We asked for the dining and he said one of the other guys would put us on the list as the other guy was walking away. Then he asks us the same question and with the disarray had to repeat ourselves twice. We got told 5-10 minute wait which it was. When we sat down the waitress was blunt and in such a rush. I asked for a diet coke and my fiance asked for a coke. As she was walking away she said okay so a pepsi and a diet pepsi. I tried to stop her and change it to a regular pepsi for I do not like diet pepsi but she was already gone. We ordered mozzarella sticks. The bread came and it was cold plain bread you would get from a regular grocery store definitely not fresh. The butter was the small cube ones that are literally impossible to spread. The mozzarella sticks where the average Joe frozen mozzarella sticks gross. I ordered fettuccine Alfredo and my fiance ordered the pick two with marinated steak tips, haddock, french fries and Cole slaw. When my food came the portions where tiny. The shrimp was slimy and the Alfredo was a soup. My fiance wanted medium steak tips and they were well done, the haddock was watery and tasted like it was something i would have from my freezer. The french fries tasted frozen and the Cole slaw was bland. The worse thing is I spent more then I would at the cheese cake factory and their food is 10 times bigger portions and better. NOT WORTH THE MONEY! Please note I do not normally write reviews like this but this was horrible. If you are Italian this is NOT Italian food if you know...

Averaging around 20 dollars a plate, the food was at best bland. The dish I ordered was promised to be a spicy, garlicy dish. I was met with a soupy, flavorless sauce, bland pasta, and overcooked chicken and shrimp. I tasted another party member's red sauce, only to see that it was the SAME exact sauce. Another member ordered an alfredo substitute for her sauce, to which the menu warned that it would be an additional 2.50 to make this switch. Traditionally, alfredo is a cheaper substitute. It consists of egg yolk, butter, and parmesan. For 2.50 more, the party member received what could best be described as canned alfredo. I suppose the 2.50 went to buying the can of alfredo they used at the Market Basket a few doors down.
We asked for some parmesan cheese, only to be told that the only cheese "they had" was the Kraft "parmesan" crumbles you find at your local cheap pizza joint. Again, for a place so brazenly charging 20+ dollars for a portion of pasta, the least the establishment could do was have some decent parmesan.
Not to mention, the service was a bit hostile for my taste. Not even a goodbye as we left.
TL;DR: You are better off going to Olive Garden. They are cheaper, kinder, and have...
Read moreRecently, we went to The Chateau Restaurant in Burlington for Sunday dinner. We were warmly greeted as soon as we walked in. We immediately asked if we could sit at the bar since thatâs where we wanted to be, and we were told, âOf course.â
We took our seats at the bar, and I went to the washroom. When I came back, my daughter looked confused and said sheâd rather go somewhere else to eat. I asked her why, and she explained that they had asked for her ID and were now scrutinizing it because it was from out of state. They requested additional ID, which she didnât have. I looked over and saw three people examining her ID closely.
At that moment, I thought, âYeah, letâs just leave.â Hereâs the thing: she hadnât even ordered any alcoholic drinksâonly water. So why was an ID even necessary for that? People come from out of town all the time, and not everyoneâs ID looks the same. Why spend so much time analyzing it?
If this is how you treat customers when theyâre right in front of you, I can only imagine how others might be treated behind their backs. Itâs disappointing because we had often passed by this restaurant and wanted to try it, but now itâs firmly on our âdo not...
