In order to enjoy my own phone/radio, I asked the person who took my order to turn down their blaring music. Someone politely said they had. But, not down far enough, so I asked again, after a few minutes of not hearing my phone. When I requested the same once more, the woman aggressively told me that she had done so twice, would once more, but not again. (Is not customer comfort a measure of a restaurant?) (Hmmm, whatever happened to "The Customer Is Always Right?) Not only the above, but a Five Guys restaurant is not a pre-school. Some employees were entertaining a toddler behind the counter, complete witha little apron and gloves on the baby's hands. A toddler behind the counter? Let me count the ways that violates sanitation codes
I suggested that I would not be back, if the radio were not diminished. Although it was (but not low enough), their attitude, and babysitting will persuade me to avoid that Five...
Read moreHorrible staffs. We came here last week. We were excited to try this restaurant for the first time. It was a windy, rainy, and miserable day. We arrived 5 minutes past its opening time. But the door was still locked. We peaked in, there were staffs inside, and we made eye contacts with at least 2 or maybe 3 of them in the coming 2 minutes. They definitely saw us, but they just deliberately ignored us. We were with two young kids, wet and cold and hungry. Even it were 5 minutes before opening time, good restaurant should at least let their customer come in and wait inside. Let alone it was actually 5 minutes PAST their opening time. Even after we knocked on the door, we were just dismissed out in the rain and wind. Outrageously unbelievable. We vow not to come to any Five Guys ever and we will tell this experience to anyone we know who is thinking going dine at...
Read moreRarely have I been this disappointed with a restaurant. This place absolutely does not live up to the hype. The burgers were adequate, but nothing you couldn't get off a canteen truck. Except the roach coach would probably serve them hot. The fries were soggy, burnt and a Roman soldier could retire on the amount of salt they dumped on them. These abused spuds were terrible and it's not a bonus to have extra dumped in the bag. The tables an counter tops were greasy and/or sticky. The air stunk of dirty fryer oil. There was food on the floor. And they weren't even very busy. I can't imagine how it is with a rush happening. Lastly, the food is ridiculously over priced. I honestly wish I had just gone to a gas station and bought a week old sandwich. Next...
