Wendy's — Restaurant in Burlington

My mother and sister in months of 2024 went thru drive through got food they both are hard working don't drink or drugs they have to do u.a for their job soon as they were heading home eating Wendy food 10 min after eat both were dose off very drowsy other symptoms my mom come too down below our road her truck running foot on the break again both don't drink or do drugs the next day they both felt like hangover headache other symptom. my mom didn't understand what happened to both of them until I told her of relative who got a drink from a place felt same way like my mother and sister did after consumption of his drink from coffee place but he was smart to drive himself to hospital while being drowsy for no reason he saw powdery substance in his drink he come up positive for fentanyl now this is also someone who didn't drink or do drugs. My mom and sister is scared of this Wendy's and I have known a old worker who was struggling in addiction working here but this person passed away. It make me wonder if that same behavior is happening or if it happen to someone else because my mom and sister said worker was acting strangely and was looking in car to see if was others in the car my mom is 72 and sister 50 it's suspicious make me wonder if they to got laced food my mom and sister. They were both perfectly fine before eating I just want to share this. But this was around same time I personally know of others who are respectful individual who bought laced food and drinks I wish my mom and sister went to Dr or hospital to get tested like those others who did come up positive for fentanyl and did keep his evidence his drink he bought that had...

Got some delicious breakfast as I was curious to sample their breakfast menu options. Wendy's offers a decent amount and variety of egg sandwiches with either a choice of croissant as a bun or what I think is a soft Kaiser roll.

Tried the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. Unlike McDonald's and Dunkin', the egg was.an actual fried egg so bonus points for that. The sandwich hot and freshly heated through.

The star of my order however, which I got as a combo, are the seasoned potato fries. You could actually see and taste the black pepper and salt on these guys. There was a nice light crunch to them and the fries were just well seasoned.

My coffee was a tad on the watered down side. I think it just wasn't a very strong blend but with some creamer and a touch of sugar, it tasted just fine. My partner and I ordered the same thing and he was just as impressed with the potato fries and his identical sandwich. His only change was a bottled water as he's not a huge coffee drinker despite being a native Washingtonian.

Overall, breakfast was lit! I wouldn't make ordering out like this a habit but for only $13 the amount of food was sufficiently filling and tasty for a fast food joint. Needless to say, we were...

2/15/20 Their french fries had too much salt, I could barely eat half of them - had to throw the rest away. Apparently this has been an constant problem due to lack of crew training and the lack station cleaning during the day.

If half stars were possible, my ranking would be 2 1/2 stars.

Went in about 11am on a Thursday, they were having computer/register problems, but they still were able to take orders.

It was quiet, few customers, drive thru seem busy.

Ordered a single cheeseburger and a smoothie. The cheeseburger was good, but the meat appeared to be slightly overcooked.

My one major complaint would be the leaf of "inedible, hard", core lettuce they had on it, which I have seen before.

It was "not" the green, fresh piece of lettuce featured in all their ads. I immediately pulled it off.
