Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Burnsville

I work nearby and drive through this Jimmy John’s almost weekly and after today’s experience I’ll choose to go to the one on cliff tr in Eagan. I get a 30 min lunch and I go here because they are generally quick. But today I waited for 12 min after ordering and paying. I sat in my car next to the window and I could clearly see three employees chatting with each other. There were a few cars behind me and I had to eventually shout to get someone’s attention. This Young employee open the door and said “oh, what did you order? I think we forgot about your sandwich.” I told him my order and asked to speak to the manager. This is the second time I’ve had a problem here. The manager comes to the window and doesn’t say a word. She just stares at me. And I told her the scenario and she said give me your name and phone number next time you come in I’ll take care of your meal. This Jimmy John's is total trash!! I've ordered from this location about six times in the past year, and every single time they have messed up my order! They act like they don't care and completely ignore any requests or customizations. They have one job. It's just a sandwich. I don't understand why that is so hard! I always order on the app so they can't misunderstand my order. I always ask for it to be cut in half and they refuse to cut it in half! Is it really that challenging?? One time I added bacon to my sandwich and paid extra and sure enough when I got home there was no bacon on my sandwich! Today I ordered a Hunter's club and after waiting forever, the guy just hands me the sandwich out the window with no bag or anything. When I got home to eat it, it had no cheese! As someone who has previously delivered for a Jimmy Johns, I love the franchise and have had excellent with AV, Burnsville, and Bloomington locations. However, I cannot in good faith recommend this particular store. If this store is your first experience with a Jimmy Johns, I assure you that this location is the exception and not the rule.

The in shop staff does well and performs on par with any JJ that I have previously visited. If rating was for pick up only I would give 3 or 4 stars. Delivery is dreadful though. I will give benefit of the doubt and presume that the store is chronically understaffed.

Delivery is consistently late. Sometimes taking upwards of an hour to arrive. Items such as cookies or chips are frequently missing.
