Well.. Iām unsure where to start but for context I come here quite often and never really have a bad experienceā¦. Longer review sorry. My complaint is directed towards (Leslie) our server. She was very talkative to a larger party across from us⦠BUT when we would say thankyou she (wouldnāt) respond with your welcome she would either (not respond) or say āmhmā. When taking our order she just sat her book on our table to write. She sat dishes down on the table aggressively. Cups went without a refill multiple times. And I actually accidentally spilled my cup and she just tossed napkins on our table and walked away without saying anything. (Btw I cleaned it up and I always pre-buss my own table and leave with a clean table because itās terrible cleaning up after sloppy people)⦠anywaysā¦No āthankyou or your welcomeā. Part of me wants to think maybe she was just having one of those days where u just donāt want to work but noticing her being talkative to other tables and saying polite remarks made me be like alright man⦠Bill was $66 I tipped $8.69 but honestly was like man Iām about to leave $5 max. Conversation was like talking to a wall that hates being a wall. I did mention the biscuits being good with a certain sauce and she just said āIāve been here 40 years I donāt bother eating themā. Also was not offered a to go bag or anything she just dropped the check off and dipped, no have a goodnight no thanks for coming in etc etc. Also, Our very first order that came out had to be the driest shrimp I have ever eaten. Overcooked/little to no butter in the serving dish. (Video proof) And for the 3-4 remaining biscuits that I asked for instead of shrimp which I just wanted biscuits because usually they are warm and fresh⦠nah they came out dark brown and one of them literally dry⦠Wasted $75 Iām assuming because we were a 2 top younger couple that dressed comfy for dinner she was thinking yup hereās a trash tip so no effort was put forth in going that extra mile when really I came here just a week prior had a very nice girl and I tipped her $22 on a $50 check. I served and bar tended for 2 years so I know itās not the best of jobs but really itās so easy to just smile give someone a good experience because you never know who that person is that will tip you $100+ Again my b on the long review just didnāt have a good experience because usually we get a server that provides conversation and doesnāt have such a noticeable attitude. If Leslie is my server in the future and I get the same treatment...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI absolutely love Red Lobster. Iāve been coming to this one in particular since I was a little girl. Iāve always loved my visits, and could not wait to come back each time I left, because not only was the food prepared well and in a timely manner, but my servers and the other staff were very very enthusiastic and made me feel so welcomed. My last visit, however, I did not enjoy the 45 minutes that I spent there. My server, Jess, I believe her name was, did not seem to be happy to help me. I felt very rushed, as if she needed to have me in and out for some reason, although it was a very slow night. I also did not appreciate her tone of voice that she was using, or her demeanor in general towards me as it made me feel disconnected, and like she didnāt want to be there or to help me, unlike Iāve felt before in this restaurant. The most upsetting part of my dinner, though, was the fact that I could hear her disrespect the employees in the kitchen and in the bakery. I have never ever experienced such mistreatment towards another person before, especially not here. The people who are cooking her food, baking her bread, providing her with services that she could not even fathom doing, Iām sure, should be treated with more respect, especially from her. The people she is serving should also be treated more kindly than what I had experienced. Due to this experience, I will not be coming back. I feel very bad that the staff in the back is repeatedly treated this way, and I feel bad for the customers who have to have her as their waitress....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpon my drive into the establishment I notice that the parking lot is very ideal perfectly spaced spots with plenty of room to exit the vehicle. Then you walk through what I like to call the grand entrance where after opening the initial door a hostess then held the secondary door for me to walk into the waiting area. Where her head was down almost as if she was bowing to me entering the eatery. There at the waiting area I was greeted with a warm smile from the manager known as Mike he of welcomed me and brought me to a comfortable booth where I could rest my feet knowing I was in good hands. Mike then asked us if we had tried the new seafood boils on the menu recommending me the Cajun butter and if I like some spice the extra spicy. I thanked him for the recommendation and as our waitress shortly arrived and took our drink orders the mango tea was my choice and it was as if I picked the mango off the tree and brewed the tea myself. When our waitress did take our order I was delighted to choose the boil Mike recommended as I usually get what most restaurant workers recommend as it usually is the most appetizing food on the menu. Finally the boil arrived and it was phenomenal the spice level was excellent everything cooked to the upmost perfection the flavor to die for. I will be coming back to Red Lobster very soon to see if it is true that Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, three...
