I have been coming to this Taco Bell since I moved here last year at least twice a week. Tonight I've had the absolute worst experience thanks to their general manager Kendrick. I placed a mobile order for 3 meals all the same items with minor additions. A mistake was made by the team as they forgot to include one item and did not notate what was what leaving us to have to open up 3 crunch wraps and 3 burritos to try and figure out what was what. Our food was handled by not one, but 2 employees to try and figure it out at our table and the counter. In that time of burritos being wide open and Crunchwraps being undone they got cold as the ac in there is set to polar vortex. I was airing my grievances unknowingly to the general manager and he just turned around and left the table which struck me as rude. While seated at the table we could hear all this discussions being had by the 4 employees at the drive through window trying to remain out of sight, but unfortunately not sound. Making it possible to hear what the manager thought of the situation. He probably should've taken that conversation to the back office. After hearing enough of how he wasn't refunding food that was just made I went to the counter to ask to speak to the manager. While waiting a young lady saw me standing there and alerted Kendrick that I was there and he directed her to find out what I wanted. I asked her for the GM's info. To my surprise Kendrick was the manager and he was so proud to make that known as if he were a gorilla beating his chest at another larger gorilla. I asked for his card which he claimed to have none so I just asked him to write the manager info and store #. At this point Kendrick continued to attempt to vocally control the conversation. Once I was permitted to speak after being yelled at and stated I wanted a refund he snapped yet again and stated he was trying to do something! Thats when I explained maybe he should have stated that prior to leaving the table in silence. That's not how you speak to anyone. He could've stated let me try and make this right, I'll be right back. Once again I told him I wanted a refund and he stated that I'd have to call the corporate number to attempt that. I went back to my table bagged up the items to bring home and while leaving peacefully he made sure to yell some more as I was walking out the vestibule. I stated he would get his and I hope he does. I hope that Taco Bell would take the time to look at the cameras at store# 31616 around 9:30pm and tailor a remedial customer service 101 training to this animal. Tell me is this how you expect a manager to react?...

There were hardly any customers and it looked like no one had swept or wiped anything all day. We were there at 7:30 pm. There was food all over the floor in the food prep area, causing a safety hazard, not to mention looking so nasty I was worried about what I just ate. (I was at the counter to place a complaint). I didn’t even want to peek in the bathroom. The manager wiped the sweat off his brow with his gloved hand. My friend was the 1st of us to complain and he had to tell the manager to change his gloves. Two other customers thanked me for speaking up.
Damn shame, I used to come here all the time and it was clean and the employees cared. It’s been a while and I was looking forward to going only to get there and look forward to leaving.
Those good reviews are fake. Probably friends of...
Read moreAlways laughed at my buddy when he would say a commercial fast food place was better at different locations. But he was right. I’m a butler resident and remember when Taco Bell first opened and it’s been down hill ever since. Just when you think it couldn’t get any worse, it always does. If you go through the drive thru be sure to order extra food cause they’ll omit items- and I’m talking a near perfect 99.9% of the time. It’s like BK route 8 south and TB are having a “don’t put all the customers s##t they ordered in the bag” competition. Back in the day they used to employee older persons that may have been slow but had a sense of reverence in the service they provided their customers. They Jew you on meat and lay in the bean filler and lettuce in the big beef burrito supremes. Eat in and put these losers...
