Ross Dress for Less — Local services in Butler Township

Well, customer service was, as far as friendliness?... As well as being helpful?... Pretty good I have to say. However, when it came to buying our stuff we really needed a small garbage can with a lid.... They had two of them and one was marked $7.99 and the other one that was not wrapped in factory wrapping was $8.99 okay, so these little garbage cans were made of really soft metal.... Needless to say they had dents everywhere.... The one dent was so bad you couldn't open the lid... We knew we could get it home and tap the dents out, but we thought that since the dents were so bad the lady would work with us. Mind you the same garbage cans with no dents in them we're at Dollar general store beside Walmart they were brand new and more heavy duty and they were asking $12.99 we thought we could find them cheaper, so we went to Ross looking for a larger garbage can for our kitchen and thought we would go back and get the little garbage can from DGS.... But like I said we saw them at Ross they were cheaper and the dense could be fixed but it was an inconvenience. My mother asked nicely could you work with us? The lady would only take $0.80 off I told my mom she might as well just pay the whole price! Just me getting the dents out alone cost me more time, but we ended up getting them anyways because they are trash cans after all. They don't need to be pretty, but it's the principal I understand they are already priced down but come on, really? In these times only the rich stay rich while the average people are struggling. She was so worried about getting as much as she could out of that dented up garbage can it gave credibility to my thoughts as of late, "PEOPLE SUCK!" Sheesh.... She should have just rounded it off to the nearest dollar for gosh...

I was in line not realizing u had to walk through this rope area there was no one in line when i got in line so not sure what the big deal the young girl running the register waited til lots of people got in line then got an attitude with me and informed me I had to go to the back of the line and walk through the rope area why couldn't she say that b4 when i got there without an attitude i had groceries in the car she could of told me the sec i got there not waited til 4-5 people got infront of me it was a very childish thing but done on purpose other than that they have good deals and the other cashier was very kind she...

I love Ross and the selection of clothes, baby and toddler clothes and baby products to home decor and pet products and athletic wear they have here, plus I love that their prices are budget friendly. I use to really like tj maxx and their prices on clothes but I think tj maxx is outrageous in their prices anymore and would choose Ross first especially when you can go and get a similar or same peice of clothing for less money at Ross. Also my favorite thing about Ross is the hours of operation they are always open later than stores in area and around Christmas time they stay open till 1:30 am...
