Ordered a banner online for same day printing on Thursday. Called the store to let them Know I would not be picking up until Saturday. They said it wouldn't be a problem. I received a confirmation email that the banner was ready for pick up. I showed up at 9:30 Saturday morning - waited for about 20 minutes for them to decide the banner was not there and was never printed. The lovely girl behind the counter said she could print another one and have it ready in 30 minutes - clearly not her fault. I let her know that I was on a tight timeline and needed to leave Butler in 1 hour. I left the store and came back in 45 minutes - banner not ready - still printing. After a few more minutes, she realizes that the banner is completed but has not printed part of the design... She attempts to print another - meaning I have to wait even longer. Another lady offered me a $10 off coupon. The banner is finally done and I was offered a partial refund for the wait - in all over 2 hours! She attempts to do the partial refund back onto my debit card but cannot print a receipt - although assures me that it went through. 5 days later and I am still waiting to see that refund in my account. I called the store today and was told that the refund never went processed on their end and they are unable to do the refund without the card physically in the store - I live over an hour away. Read moreStaples had my computer for over a month. They was to install a video card. They said card did not work that I had to buy a new power supply. So I did. Video card still didn't work. They said I needed a different video card so I purchased a different one. That still did not work. They told me they have no clue why it doesn't work. So I told them return the video card and just give me my computer back. That's when they informed me that the power supply I purchased two weeks ago doesn't connect up to the CD player. I told them put the old supply back In. Two days later i picked up my computer. I did try to buy a USB to hdmi adapter. The associate at the register did not know how to check my out. The manager he came over told me to go to the other register. So I did the same cashier followed me we tried to cash me out again. She told me that my card wasn't working and if I had a other form of payment. The card has a 35k limit. I told them never mind and left the store furious. I then get to my vehicle and the credit card company sends me a statement of purchase at staples. I go back inside and show them the credit card statement. She calls her manager and says, "I don't have enough money to make change." I stated my purchase was $68.95, I'm owed $10.05 change as I have her $80.00. The girl nodded, looking at her manager. He said "well what do you have in your drawer." The cashier replied, "only hundreds and twenties and the money I have here but she have it back, I don't know what I'm supposed to do"............I again stated my purchase was 68.95, I gave her $80, I'm due change of $10. 05...manager walks off to get change.....10 min later he is still not back, I say to the girl, here I'll give you 9 ones and you give me one 20 back, then you'll owe me a nickle. She opens the drawer, hands me 22.75. Shaking my head..... I do the math out loud, handing her the 2.75 back and ask for a nickle, which should be my correct change.....cashiers reply, "ummm we will have to wait for the manager".........really????
Absolutely NO MATH SKILLS. My 6year old grandson was able to do the math, not the cashier though............never again, will go...
