Royse's Hamburgers, Shakes & More — Restaurant in Butte

If there was a zero star option, this would get it. Even the cute complimentary ice cream cones for my pups cannot make up for the horrible quality of the food at Royse's Hamburgers. I ordered a basic hamburger combo. After a lengthy wait at the drive through window, I received a cold stale cheeseburger that looked like a repackaged Big Mac from McDonald's. If I wanted to support major cooperations and get plastic food, I would go to McDonald's. The burger was grey and had a taste that immediately rendered the meal inedible. The unwanted "cheese" was congealed American which I am allergic too and cannot eat anyway. Its not worth the aggravation going back to such a place for a refund of $9. The fries were good. We will have to keep looking for the right local establishment to support amoung just a few...

UPDATE: I have been informed that the Ham and Cheese sandwich is not great from here- so it may be advisable to try a burger instead! The mushroom and swiss burger I got in the combo meal is the best burger I had in a long while. I was craving a good one as a treat, but the other fast food chains are just missing something, just not satisfying, and don't feel good to eat. The bun was super, amazingly soft, the cheese centered, the mushrooms not overpowering, just amazing. The fries are fantastic with the fry sauce and the shakes- YES. Thank you Royse's. I will come by again...

Stopped for a bite while traveling and Royse's sounded hopeful... but in the end was a disappointment. Service was fine, I guess, but the food was not so good.

Taco dog... can NOT recommend. If you are thinking this will have lettuce...? onions...? Nope! You get a decent split dog topped with sorta gross taco-meat and that's what you get! Enjoy! Only we did not... lol fries were tolerable, but we couldnt stomach much. No fry sauce in the bag 😏 even though she clarified which, "fry sauce or ketchup." We said yes to fry sauce...
