I came in today with my family as soon as it was open for lunch -our server was great, the beers were great and the food was eh …we were the only ones there except for 2 people at the bar I ordered the fish and chips which is 6oz and then you can get 2oz more for 2 dollars Sadly it was extremely over cooked and I was given 3 small burned out pieces for $17.99 which is insane I’m not an in person complainer but find it upsetting that in a bar with no people that your cooks could overcook battered fish and in no way was what I received 8oz of fish My sons BLT was served on burnt toast facing in I guess in hopes that we wouldn’t notice Burning fish and toast comes from not watching cook times and with just us in the restaurant makes you wonder why that is -cant image if they had been busy how the food would of came out Won’t be back at these prices I’ve heard bad things but thought I’d give it a shot Nope ..don’t do it See photo …that’s 17.99 and that’s supposedly not 6oz of fish but 8oz …. 😞

Great beer selection- ordered a flight and liked all of them! Street tacos are yummy! Oceana and the bartender working with her (sorry I didn’t get her name) were awesome, being the only two people working a busy lunch rush. Great ladies slinging great beer and food. Highly recommend!

I travelled to CO and was so pleased to have Rocky Mountain Oysters for the first time; I was pleased. The fish tacos were fine. I had 9-type sampler of the beer. I consider myself quite the connoisseur having been to many establishments in the best brewing countries: Germany, Czechia, Belgium, Holland, and ect. Of the nine beers I've tried, I can't say that any of them really stood out. Certainly better than American "horse brewed" beer, yet something was missing. I would prefer you lessen the variety and work on getting the "maltiness" in your brews to stand out. One, like me, wants to have that deep flavor of the grain to remember. I know you're a relatively new establishment and I trust you can make it happen someday soon. Canon City is one of the prettiest towns I know of in the USA and sitting outside is a fantastic ambiance.

I have to agree with another reviewer about the service. You need to get rid of the servers, have a bar/beertender and make people order food from the bar. This spot is new and the service is going to kill the reviews.

I had a press trip in the area and after a long day, we just wanted to explore the town. World's End was recommended to me through a follower on Instagram and since we love breweries, we decided to stop here for dinner. The food is really good and the beer is decent, but our server ruined the entire experience for us. When we initially sat down, we planned to try a few beers and get dessert, but because of this woman, we just wanted to get out of there.

Let me preface this by saying I have been a vegetarian for 5 years and recently, in the past 4 months, I started eating meat about once or twice a month. I typically will order a meat dish when I go out to eat, but my diet is mostly vegetarian. I don't even buy meat for meals at home. I have always been respectful of other people's diets but this was not the case for our server.

Our lovely server made it clear she didn't feel like helping us because she is a vegetarian! NO JOKE, I asked about the spiciness of the sauces for the chicken wings and she kept saying, "I don't know, I'm a vegetarian" and "I just don't know, I don't eat that" and kept shrugging. Okay lady, I'm not asking how the chicken tastes, but you should have basic information on your menu. Asking which sauce is the spiciest should not be a difficult question, have you never had cauliflower wings? And if you need to ask someone in the kitchen, then do it.

After about 5 questions that she kept shrugging and rolling her eyes to, we saw her one time after our food came out and she never came back. Our table had no napkins, no utensils, no ketchup. We had to keep asking other servers to help us. Our water cups were empty and I made eye contact with her, I swear 5 different times with the empty cups in front of me, I was obviously trying to get her attention without being rude, and she would just look away! It seemed like we had offended her with our chicken wing questions.

I think she needs to find a new job, maybe open her own vegetarian restaurant, but her attitude and unwillingness to be a decent server is not okay. If we find ourselves back in this area, we will be back, but if she's our server, we will definitely ask for someone else. I think she may rub people the wrong way, especially you meat eaters,...

TL;DR: This would be a great place to eat if the kitchen were more organized and the wait staff were less green.

We were told an hour wait and ended up sitting there for about an hour and a quarter before getting our food. As far as the expectations laid out that was not terrible if that were the end of it.

We received our food, I had ordered the "Adult Grilled Cheese and Fries" my dad ordered the "Fish n' Chips".

The only food item we received that was hot was my grilled cheese. My fries, and my dad's whole meal, where cold.

My dad reported that although his meal was cold, the flavor of the fish was so good that he just ate it as it was and was actually quite happy with it. My fries being cold was quite disappointing and I did not enjoy them that way. It was clear that my sandwich was made in a panini press. Although warm, the bread was not fluffy on the inside crispy on the outside like I would expect from a standard stovetop grilling. The bread was so hard it was actually quite uncomfortable to eat, which was very disappointing for me as it was sourdough which is my favorite for sandwiches of the kind.

So between the sandwich being the only hot thing on the table, the rest being cold, and the over an hour wait time, it became clear to us that the wait times were not due to being understaffed or overly crowded. The issue was very clearly either a very unorganized kitchen, very green wait staff, or more likely: A combination of both.

The waitress serving us was slow and clunky with her iPad, getting drinks took far too long, they do not do free refills and did not remember the specifications of my drink order so the second drink was incorrect. They did not pay any attention to the state of my drink either, after my cup was empty for a few minutes whilst being ignore by wait staff I flagged someone down to request a refill.

There were quite a few indicators of inexperienced wait staff, and hopefully when they either put the effort in and learn or are replaced with more experienced staff, the experience should actually be quite nice. Same goes for the...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at your establishment and I must say, the highlight of my experience was the exceptional service provided by our waitress, Ona. From the moment we were seated until the end of our meal, Ona went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of amazing.

First and foremost, Ona greeted us with a warm and genuine smile, instantly making us feel welcome and comfortable. She took the time to explain the menu in detail, offering insightful recommendations and answering all of our questions with great patience. Her knowledge of the dishes and ingredients was impressive, and it truly enhanced our dining experience.

Throughout the meal, Ona was attentive without being intrusive. She anticipated our needs, ensuring that our glasses were always filled and promptly addressing any requests we had. Her attention to detail was impeccable, as she consistently checked on us to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction.

What truly set Ona apart was her genuine enthusiasm and passion for her job. She exuded a positive energy that was contagious, making our dining experience all the more enjoyable. Her friendly demeanor and engaging conversation made us feel like valued guests, and it was evident that she genuinely cared about our experience.

Furthermore, Ona's efficiency and professionalism were commendable. Despite the restaurant being busy, she managed to handle multiple tables with ease, never compromising on the quality of her service. She was organized, prompt, and efficient, ensuring that our food arrived in a timely manner and that our dining experience flowed seamlessly.

I would highly recommend Ona to anyone visiting your establishment. Her exceptional service and genuine care for her guests make her an invaluable asset to your team. Thank you, Ona, for making our dining experience...
