This place has a lot going for it, but also a few areas that could use improvement. Walking in, the first thing I noticed was the sticky table and floor, not the cleanest first impression. The water had a strange aftertaste, so I'd recommend going with something bottled or canned. That said, service was impressively fast. Our soup and salad arrived almost immediately after we sat down, and the hibachi was served not long after that, hot and fresh. I ordered the hibachi steak medium, but the pieces were cut so small that they ended up more like medium-well. Still, the flavor was great. The vegetables were heavy on the teriyaki, which actually made them stand out more than the steak or fried rice. The rice itself was solid but could’ve used a bit more seasoning. We also tried the Super Crunchy Roll. It lived up to the name in texture, the crunch was excellent, but the flavor was a little underwhelming. The fish wasn’t named, and the sauce didn’t deliver any of the spiciness I was expecting. Still edible, just not memorable. The sushi did take a bit longer to come out, but our waitress was very polite and apologized for the delay. Portion sizes were solid across the board, and for $44 (with tip), I felt like we got a fair deal, especially if you plan to split the hibachi and a roll with someone else. You’ll have enough for two meals. Despite a few quirks, I genuinely enjoyed the meal. The speed of service is a major plus, and the quiet atmosphere, no loud music or TV noise, was a refreshing change. With a few tweaks, this place could really shine.

Oh boy, where do I begin? My wife and I ordered some apettizers, some sushi, and a bento box (teriyaki chicken) for carry out. We spent over $50 on this meal so we were expecting decent food. Long story short we were very disappointed. Spring rolls: very little filling, mostly wrapper. Not much flavor at all unsurprisingly. Crab rangoons: again, fairly small. Semi sweet which was okay but had a weird bitter aftertaste, not sure where that was from. Tempura shrimp: was pretty good, no complaints. The salads we got were wilty and sad looking. I usually eat salad but I skipped this one, it didn't look appetizing. My chicken teriyaki was super bland and chewy. I only ate a few pieces but couldn't get past the texture and the flavor wasn't good enough to warrant eating it. The sushi was hit or miss. The California roll I got with my bento was fine. Of the sushi we got on the side: One roll was bland and weirdly chewy but the cooked roll was decent. Oh, and one of the sauce cups was under pressure when I opened it (noticeable pop when opened) and smelled horrible. I think it might have been tomato based because it smelled like a rotten tomato. We threw that out. Overall I'm extremely disappointed in this place and won't be coming back, especially for the price.

This is the first time visiting this establishment and it will be the last. To be fair, it was the best crab rangoon I've ever eaten. The Hyland sushi roll was really good as well. That is as far as it goes. If you want anything else from the kitchen, I do not recommend it. The miso soup tasted of old pasta water at best. The ginger salad ordered, appeared to be a very watered down ranch..(?) The Kalamari was not only like chewing rubber, I am not entirely sure it wasn't spoiled. All of those things were placed practically untouched at the edge of the table. When the waitress brought out our shared entree of Shrimp Yaki Udon (no extra plate) she removed the food but never asked if everything was alright. Even more disappointing is the fact I commented that it didn't look like the picture on the menu at all. She never said a word; just took the other food and left. It was also not eaten. The shrimp was way over cooked and the noodles. The only word that comes to mind for the texture of the flavorless disgusting pile of yuck is; slimy. Never again. (the picture looks better than the actual food)

Terrible Service! Terrible food!!! The sushi fell apart as soon as u put chopsticks to it, Our filets were full of fat! (Filets should have no fat, that's typical knowledge) and the broccoli in the veggies tasted like it was frozen over twice! we didn't complain, because both my sister and I are servers, we NEVER complain!!! We asked for our checks, (and yes at the beginning of our meal we did tell our server that The check would be split between her and I!) she asked how the check was gonna be split, we told her exactly how it should be, my sis and I ordered the SAME EXACT things, therefor only u had to split my moms meal!!! Not that hard!!! After 15 mins, we got our checks! Each were around $32 it was written IN PEN +51.33 on both of our checks!!! Really? You wrote in the rest of the amount? Not even a receipt of itemization???? So we asked for the FULL check with itemization... After waiting 30mins and 3 people at the computer trying to figure it out, we got our checks again, we were charged for the wrong things! Which would've had us paying 30 dollars more than original! We told her it was wrong again and after waiting 20 mins longer, we went to the front desk! We asked if there was a manager "no we don't have a manager here" ok! So my sister called after we left, and the boy that told us in the beggining, that no manager was there, was suddenly a manager "but not really, the manager was on vacation" so I called back to get the young boys name so we could call back the next day, suddenly it was another manager!!!! Hmmm I gave my complaint! She told me she has never had a complaint about the food and that the server has had many complaints, she is new... I told her I found it hard to beleive about the food... She offered a gift card, in which in return I told her a gift card was useless to me!!! I would never dine there again!!! My complaint was never to get anything for free, I pay for what I order no matter the situation!!!! I understand!!! I AM A SERVER!!! My sister in return called to talk to the owner, and because she didn't agree to come back down there and talk to her (we both live 30 mins away as it is) he hung up on her!!!!! We would NEVER step foot in that place again!!! I will add that my sis and I dine out 3-4 nights a week, take care of our servers more than plenty every time! Even for bad service!!!! (First time EVER we didn't 😐) We got told every excuse in the book, it was a Monday night and was not busy!!!! There was no excuse! we weren't even looking for apologies!!! Just the right checks!!! With an actual itemized bill!!!! Period!!! that in itself...

Unfortunately tonight's experience was way off.. We came in to dine in the traditional side, not the hibachi.. Got there at 9pm they close at 930.. My wife ordered the hibachi steak asked for it to be well done, I ordered the teriyaki chicken. They bring out mine first, the chicken was a little rubbery, the broccoli was hard and the fried rice was decent. Then my wife's dinner was brought out. Instantly, we can see the steak was brown but red juice covered, we cut into it and the center is blood red, it's only brown on the outer 1/8"... the server had left, I find another and asked if this could be cooked more, please cook to well done. The hostess returns with the meal, still looks to be less than well done.. We cut into it again and it's just as red.. We asked the hostess can you please cook this through? she begins to argue that "if it's well done, it will be tough... No one likes it tough.. This is done" , my wife says I want this to be well done not red.. She says "this is done, I don't know what to do?" We said we would like a box and we will cook it at home.. Never before had we experienced this here.. We have ate many times at the grill and once before from the kitchen. I know if you order a steak well done often times it has to be sent back, I get that.. But to have her argue and tell us this is done, this is what you get.. This is completely unacceptable.. I don't believe we will ever go back.. I shouldn't have paid for it.. I tried to speak calm and let her know what we wanted and she only wanted to restate what most people want.. Sadly she doesn't realize all customers are different and should get what...
