ALDI — Local services in Cabot

To tell the truth i didnt get to shop there. I went there (for the first time) to get groceries and as I pull in I see people carrying in their own Aldi cloth shopping bags, then I get towards the front door and see that they make you pay a quarter just to use one of their stinking buggies/carts, I didnt have changed and never do, although I think the thing had a place to swipe a card to get a cart, I didnt go any further because I figured you may HAVE to use and buy your own bag(s) to put your stuff in and then having to go through the idiocy of paying to use a cart I was turned off before even reaching the door. The prices may be good (looked on their website) but the inconvenience and foolishness between the basket and the bag and them.not opening until 9 am made it more trouble than what its worth. Don't know how they stay in business doing stupid...

I'm very excited that an Aldi has opened in Cabot! I've shopped there several times since they opened, and it's been awesome! They have a great selection of products and the prices are very reasonable. You can find some excellent deals on products such as milk, yogurt, bread, soups, snacks, frozen meals, etc. If you consider shopping at Aldi for the first time, be aware that they do charge a quarter for the use of their shopping carts and a few cents for each paper grocery bag used. This is offset by the savings, and if you bring your own bags, you don't have to pay for those items. The store is clean, aisles are spacious, and everything is well-stocked and organized. Meh. Store is small. Prices were the same as anywhere else. quarters were stuck in carts and had to borrow one from someone, the same as we left. No items stood out, everything you could get from across the street. We got confused which bags to pay for in self checkout and nobody was around for help. only ever saw one person at cashier. I guess they must have some very average uniforms or nobody else was around but one person. Nothing stood out, You would think they would have some german products. I guess you can go for the name.. better to continue going anywhere else, same thing and...
