I walked inside to make a TOGO order since the online ordering service won’t let me make any customizations like I prefer. I already hate talking to people face to face but I braved it this time because my family loves Waffle House So much. My waitress was rude, over talked me the entire time and I felt like she was just rushing to get rid of me. She confused me so I had to call my husband and verify his order. While she was finishing my order, another waitress called over to her and told her she sounds like a robot while she’s speaking to me. I’m still talking when they do this. After my order is done, she turns around and starts talking shit with the other employees about me and they all laugh and laugh. As an autistic adult, this is normal behavior I receive but I still think it should be public. She gave me my food with an attitude, I paid and as I’m leaving they all laughed and laughed. Read moreEvery town has two Waffle Houses—one striving to be the "good" Waffle House and the other... well, not so much. This location, empty on a Tuesday evening, firmly lands in the former category. The staff was attentive, the portion sizes were generous, and the place was impressively clean.
