Went thru the drive thru this morning and ordered a breakfast sandwich, small wedges, and a cinnabon, got to the window and they lady was down right rude. While taking my payment I heard her on the headset telling the person behind me that it would be a 5 to 10 minute wait. She asked me to pull forward and I asked her how long the wait would be and her response was she's the only one there it's not going to take that long and slams the drive-thru window, so I pulled forward to wait, waited 20 minutes no food so I decided to walk in and see what was going on upon entering there was nobody in sight all the little buzzers were going off for the fryers and another gentleman walked in behind me, we stood there for probably 5 minutes nobody in sight he left so I decided to go back outside and call the store, someone finally answered and I said I've been waiting here for 20 minutes my food was supposed to be brought out what's going on? She did apologize and say sorry I thought someone took it out to you I will make it right away and bring it out to you. I asked her if I could just get a refund and the cinnabon as I had to get kid to school and she said it only take a minute she was going to remake the cinnabon and refund me and bring it out. Once she brought it out still very rude and as we were driving to school my daughter opened her cinnabon and it was rock hard that she couldn't even eat it. Stinks when this is the only Wendy's in Caldwell and it seems to be...
Read moreWe have been going to the 10th Avenue Wendy’s for many years. I want to preface this review stating that we know it is currently hard to get staff in many businesses. We went yesterday & the indoor dining area was open, but with a sign in the window stating for Pick Up only. To me, that means, we can get our food, but we can’t eat in the dining room, we could do an order to go. As I entered, there was an older couple exiting from the seating area that seemed like they had eaten in the dining room. I looked around the counter area trying to decide if I ordered at one of the kiosks or at the counter. Two workers at the counter told me that I needed to do an online order or use the drive-thru since they didn't have enough staff to do orders in the store. We are in our 70’s. We don’t do technology well enough to negotiate an online order. If you don't have enough staff to take an order, why are there two employees at the counter explaining they can't take my order? So, we went through the drive thru. Got our food, then checked it & realized part of the order was missing. Still had to go inside & get it corrected. Left the store only to realize they didn’t give us napkins or spoons for our Frosties in the drive-thru. The food tasted good, the staff was polite, but it was a frustrating...
Read moreWent through Drive Thru , we were given our order correctly, but very disappointed that we were given a vanilla Frosty that was extremely runny and should NEVER have been served!! I phoned Wendy's , spoke to an employee and was told the vanilla machine sometimes has problems, but the chocolate does fine. My husband is a commercial refrigeration tech and to serve such poor quality ice cream, the bacteria must be far above 450 parts per million... Do Not order a vanilla frosty! Why is it the chocolate Frosty machine performs fine, but the vanilla machine does not? POOR management. We should NEVER have been served runny ice cream!! When I drove back to exchange the bad vanilla frosty and receive an acceptable chocolate frosty I was told from the drive thru employee he couldn't take it back from me, but he should have so his manager could review. Why was I burdened to keep it and deal with the messiness of it? Very disappointed with the inconvenience experienced. Also, 7 years ago my husband ordered a Jr Bacon Cheeseburger that tasted like a fish sandwich so he never went back for the 7 years. We will never return to this Wendy's again. I rate...
